We've used Confidence Wealth for three years. We highly recommend them because of their sound advice, fair and transparent fees, holistic assessment of our finances, responsiveness, easy -to-use online access to our financials (investments, budgets, spending), and ability to clearly explain things. They are big enough to have experts in all areas, but small enough to provide personal service through a dedicated team, including their Chief of Financial Strategies. Every financial decision they've helped us with looks at short/long term benefits and risks, as well as tax implications. For example, they just helped us decide which accounts to use to pay for a large home improvement project. They proactively alert us to market conditions that affect us. I first began checking out financial advisors by attending a couple of free intros, and searching online. When I attended a free online seminar with Crystal Oculee, I felt for the first time that I'd come across a real human being, not just another "talking head". We first met Crystal at a Confidence Wealth Management (CWM) seminar in Long Beach, CA. We recently moved to CA from Texas where we already had an Ameriprise advisor. My husband thought it couldn't hurt to hear someone else's point of view so we attended the seminar. After listening to Crystal, her qualifications, and the CWM philosophy we signed up for a consultation. At the consultation we each took a survey about our personal risk-comfort level and also uploaded our financial records to a secure portal. Within a few weeks we met Crystal in a 1x1 where she reviewed our current status, where she felt our financial situation was lacking, and how to secure/ensure money for our later years and have a legacy for our children. I was hesitant to change advisors, however after a few meetings it just made sense. We've since moved back to Texas and still meet with Crystal via an online app for our annual review. However, our dealings with our CWM support team, Jenny and James, is seamless. They are both so on top of their game and provide help in the many different financial issues that arise. Sham offer of a complementary RuthChris dinner with presentation of investment strategies; HOWEVER after you are confirmed to attend and make arrangements to arrive timely, you are told to sign a release form to enter as the event is being filmed; NO signature, NO dinner!!!! Outrageous that this provision is not disclosed in advance. We refused to sign and purchased our own meal. Have to conclude this offer by Crystal Oculee is nothing but a waste of time. The speaker went through the presentation using words you can understand, no investment mumbo jumbo lingo. I signed a video release. I don't see what the big deal is? I struggled with writing this review, however after giving it a few days thought, and given all of the "bad actors" in the financial wealth managing space, decided to go ahead and publish my experience with CWM. I accepted the invitation from CWM and their lead investment strategist, C. Oculee, to review my portfolio and situation. I had two Zoom meetings with the second meeting ending with a "pitch" for me to do a "soft handshake" and work with them. In good faith, I spend considerable time and energy answering their questionnaires and sending my portfolio to them for a review. My various investment accounts have been with Fidelity for over 30 years (I am 66) and during that time period I have hired, and fired, 3 financial wealth management professionals. In my career I never rose above the "director" level at my former corporation (never earning more than $200,000 in any year) and yet have amassed a $4 million dollar portfolio, almost all as a "do it yourselfer investor." When I had my "follow-up" meeting with CWM I was never congratulated on what I had accomplished in growing my net worth to a respectable sum. (A missed opportunity for connection). After our Zoom follow-up meeting began I asked C. Oculee if CWM was a "fiduciary" to which she responded affirmatively. This was a good start as it is a pre-requisite for me to hire any firm to assist me in wealth management. We had a good Zoom chat with C. Oculee mentioning the "gaps" in my plan and how their firm could help me, however no specifics were offered. At the conclusion of the call they asked if I was interested in moving forward and I responded, I would like the names and contact info for three of your clients so I can speak with them first before making a decision. After a few days I was provided the names of TWO contacts. I spoke with each and learned that each of them had been sold annuities and/or LIRP's (Life Insurance Retirement Plans). My understanding is that these are commissionable products which candidly calls into question CWM's claim of being a "fiduciary". Note: although I am not a financial professional, financial advisory firms often sell annuities when they are "suitable" for a client, however not necessarily in their best interest (ie the "fiduciary standard"). Note: on their website, I couldn't find anywhere where they claim to be a fiduciary. This surprised me as wealth management firms that are fiduciaries frequently make the claim as being a "fiduciary" as they do not collect "commissions" for their work with clients so as to not create any "conflict of interest." Note: I cannot know for sure, however I highly suspect that CWM collects fees for selling Fixed Annuities and LIRPs. Finally, I asked C. Oculee whom she followed in Investments and Retirement Planning and C. Oculee's response was two billionares: Warren Buffet and Ray Dalio. Hmm. Not following what is really going on in today's very progressive financial planning space? No thank you! I will keep searching! read more

I first met Crystal in 2016. I have been to many financial advisors who only cared about putting me in annuities and financial products for their own gain and not for my best interest. I was unsure of starting up another relationship with anyone and have to say that Crystal won me over big time. She is super specific, analytical and detail oriented. I actually feel confidence in knowing what funds I will draw from when I am ready to retire...her staff is fantastic, she, Rem and Jenny are super class acts.
