It is right off the downtown trail in one of the best spots in town, which makes it a perfect stop during a ride. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a big bar, plenty of drinks to choose from, and a relaxed hangout vibe that makes it easy to stay a while. The beer is good, the food is great if you are hungry, and the wait staff has always been top notch for us. They seem to go out of their way to make people feel comfortable, whether you are stopping in for a full meal or just grabbing a beer along the trail. Prices are fair, the location is excellent, and the service has been consistently strong. I also appreciate seeing them help keep some Iowa beer history alive, especially with Peace Tree no longer operating out of Knoxville.
