My name is Phil Lothrop and I came to the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church yesterday, with my…read moregrand-daughter to find the grave of Ida Van Arsdalen, the wife of Joseph Annin (and before that, her first husband Joseph Gaston, who died young). Ida would be my eighth great-grandmother, she died in 1848 in Bedminster at the age of 87 years. We did not find her grave but we did find the graves of many other relatives and so it was a pleasant and fruitful day for us. We found the grave of John Collyer who was my fifth great grandfather, a carpenter, and who helped build your beautiful church. We were especially impressed with the Church and staff who were courteous and helpful and made our quest their quest. Many thanks to Paula Windus for her knowledge and kindness.
