I saw Dr. Dan throughout my first pregnancy and then I saw Dr. Ryan when I was postpartum. I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Dan walked me through all of the pregnancy discomforts better than my midwives were able to, and he did his best ease any discomfort I had, such as round ligament pain. Weeks before my water broke, my daughter was in birthing position and I credit Dr. Dan for it. At the time, I lived in Arlington and made the 30-minute drive each way once a week. I've since moved further away from Sterling and the drive is now 45-minutes each way, so I had to find a new chiropractor nearby. After trying someone new (and not getting the same quality care I was used to), I miss Dr. Dan and Dr. Ryan even more. They didn't accept my insurance, but their fees are reasonable and affordable for weekly visits. read more

Dr. Traxler took the time to listen and understand what's going on with my back and hip. He explained what he was seeing based on the scans and talked me through his recommendations. He sent follow-up exercises I could do at home in addition to adjustments and things are going great so far! Definitely recommend! read more

I can't recommend them enough! I was very apprehensive about starting chiropractic care, but the providers listened to my concerns and were very patient about talking me through everything. I started care in my third trimester for aches and pains related to pregnancy, compounded by years of bad habits. Not only do I have less pain, but I sleep SO much better, especially the night after my appointment. Everything about my experience at Connect First has been wonderful, from their welcoming front desk, to their family friendly office, to their knowledgeable providers. We LOVE Dr. Ryan and her office! We were able to solve my newborns tongue tie issues with her body work. Also, when we first came to Dr. Ryan, My baby could only lay on one side and could not turn her head because of how much tension she had in utero. The tension also made it harder for her to nurse on one side than the other. After just the first session she was able to lay on the other side. Now after 4-5 sessions my lactation consultant said she no longer needs a tongue tie release! We are ecstatic in her improvement. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ryan and her practice. Dr. Dan has been nothing short of amazing! We met through a mutual friend who spoke highly of Dr. Dan & Dr. Ryan and I feel so lucky to know them. To give some context, I live in Washington, DC and have was seeing a chiropractor near me for about 8 months to improve my posture and ability to sit in full lotus. That chiropractor spent maybe 2 minutes with me doing the identical adjustments each week and had me on a mechanical table to stretch my back for 10 minutes and that was all. Dr. Dan's 90 minute evaluation gave me so much confidence that he was really searching carefully and thoroughly on what needed to be worked on. I had my first visit with Dr Dan for my ten month old son. I am really impressed because I got way more information than ever expected. First, I love that the practice is owned by him and his wife it makes things very relatable. Dr Dan was gentle with my son, created a fun comfortable environment for him and left us excited to come back next week for a follow up. I'll be scheduling myself as well. I was having issues with my shoulder blade and reached out to Connect First when I wasn't getting better. From the second I first spoke with Dr. Ryan I felt eager and excited to start my journey to having a healthier back. She squeezed me in extremely last minute to be seen because I was so desperate to relieve my sciatic pain during pregnancy. I had gone elsewhere the week prior and had a horrible and uncomfortable experience, leaving in tears with no hope for being pain free. I just had my second appointment with Dr. Ryan today and received my second adjustment.
