Saw Caminear DPm in early July for pain swelling to my R ankle with inability to weight bearing radiating to my right knee. .I had 2 Weeks prior ended up at MidState Hospital ER.They Ortho there was a PA who ordered so many test from several X-rays of my foot ,Ultrasound,Ct scan of pelvic .I was under so much pain I had to beg for pain medication after so long lying on the stretcher.
I had to suggest to PA Polanski to give me a Toradol injection.After all test I done over at 10 hrs I never see PA POlansky again to discuss me the test result and my options for treatment was.From the cat scan dept they wheeled me into the general Er in the hallway .I was left lying for hours .Hungry ,Unable to walk and finally one of the nurses passed by I asked for something to eat and she replies she was not sure there any meal but she got a sandwich . At this point I was so hungry I asked another one sitting at thirdly if if could have another one .Ming you I am a diabetic and I had not eaten anything yet that day .She looked at me and completely ignored me like I did not exist The lack of human compassion and the disrespect made me burst into tears.I was alone.My son had to go back home.His wife just had a baby and he could not stay all day but was going to be back to find out about what happening with meAfter a long long that seems forever asked one nurse how long I am going to lie in the hallway before I see a Dr.She replies You are going to stay overnight and The following day Monday you will see a Physical therapist.it is arthritis.I asked am I going to get a bed she replies I cannot guarrantie it that depends if we have one available
Long story short ,I signed myself out because they did not give a dam .No doctor spoke to me.I was going to sleep in the hallway and when I told them I am a diabetic I need food not one dry HALF cold turkey sandwich would satisfy someone for 24hrs Honestly I gave that nurse a piece of my Mind as she had no business being a nurse.They appears amused and did not give a dam that I asked to be discharge
On Monday I called Patient advocate to file a complaint and it was a big joke .They did nothing about my complaints and this is the care you will get at Mid State Hospital.The neglect ,The disregard for human dignity and compassion do not qualify "these nurses to be call heroes"
Going back to twolweeks later with DPM Caminear.I informed him that I ended up in the hospital .He replies I have not seen since you since March? Yes I saw you were at the hospital on the portal."He did a brief physical exam ,ordered more ex rays,a second Ultrasoud and MRI and EMG over a two months period never look at my swelling ankle and painful ankle and having problem walking even with a cane.He let me lingers with pain Milked Medicare for all these unnecessary tests .EMG result was negative?Netve pain to my foot?How could EMDG negative when DPM Caminear finally decide To give me a diagnoses of "Morton Neuroma" his friend Dr Marino who performs the test stated "all your nerves are intact"and he Dr Marino was more interested in getting knee injection without offering some PT as first line of treatment. the synovial fluid injection that Medicare pays over $3,000 for each was more important than my diabetic nerve damage. Between these two men Imy care was like joggling on how much they can purge from MedicareOne say after performing an EMG "My nerves are intact"Let'do X-rays and schedule you for knee injection. The othe after 3 months of milking Medicare end up with "Morton Neuroma"which is nerve damage due to diabetes that also start from nerve from your knee to the tibial and down to the peroneal tendon in my feet causing my ankle swelling ,pain and instability and weakness of the muscle to hold you so you can have balance and weight bearing. three month of torment ,pain,inability to walk and take care of myself end up with a simple cortisol injection which he could had given right after I saw coming from the hospital and then refer me for physical therapy to regain some strength and be able to function.With knee and nerve tissues damage these two scammers would not have give a dam if I end up loosing all function to my right legs and right foot .The focus was to milk Medicare until they could no longer milk it then they would have send me to see one of their surgeons friend to amputate my right leg.Over $6 to $15,000 inMedicare fees between Mid State Hospital, Dr Marino and DPM Caminear during 3 months of malpractice ,indifference,Lack of concern and empathy .Health is a BUSINESS.Period.Too bad if you loose a limb ,a surgeon in their network would make me an amputee. read more
