Love this store. The guys are wonderful. Always go above and beyond to help and answer any and all questions, plus they offer me coffee whenever I stop in.. They have made many special orders for me ( certain holsters I use), and they always are willing to help! I also like that this is a small store and they are able to spend time with each customer... I went in last week to browse, not knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase... I looked at quite a few pistols and they answered all my questions.. They don't pressure you at all, don't try to talk you into something you have no interest in...( being a women, I have had that happen more than once in other stores).. What a great little store tucked away on busy route 80. I must have driven by this place a hundred times but never stopped in. Yesterday I was with my son and decided to pop in. It's a little store, but jammed packed with great inventory. The guys behind the counter are friendly, but dont pressure their customers by any means. I ended up buying a Walther P-22 for plinking at the range. And lastly, their prices are rock bottom. They have definitely earned my respect, and my business from now on. read more

I've been going to Ct Sporting Arms since they opened, (11 years I believe) and have never had a bad experience. Arnie the owner is as honest, straightforward and fair as they come. He says what he means and means what he says. He has a constantly changing inventory of new and used firearms and is always willing to find that special one that you're looking for. They carry accessories as well along with some freeze dried foods. He has a gunsmith named Bill on staff that is very knowledgable and makes repairs on site and a sales associate named Jim that will pour a hot cup of coffee for you when you walk in. There are always a few locals in there discussing politics or firearms and everyone seems to know each other. It is like Cheers without the alcohol. I'd rather have the service and support of a local business than the pricing of a much larger, impersonal chain or mega store. I do not price shop them because the service is so good and I want them to be around tomorrow. read more
