Each of them says that things look good on their end, and you need to contact the "other guy". How about trying to do that on the phone? You live in an area with poor cell signal, and the only way you can have a conversation is to utilize "wifi calling", except - you DON'T HAVE WIFI, so the call is breaking up and you can barely understand each other. The chance of getting a technician from your ISP to pay you a visit is about as likely as winning the lottery. I did a search on Yelp and Adam was the first - got another response from one other vendor who said they couldn't help me - to respond. He said he could come the next day, and it turns out he is located only 15 minutes from my house. I had done some remediation before his arrival and found out that my problem was not due to equipment, but a configuration decision that I had made that gradually disrupted my network (No, the customer is NOT always right). Adam explained everything that had happened, tweaked some settings, and made some suggestions about how I could optimize my setup. He is very knowledgeable about many networking, communication, and security issues. This will lead me to work with him in the future to improve the quality of our cell signal and do some rewiring to improve the performance of our home network. He also has expertise in other areas - it turns out he used to work for the company that services the entry gates into our community and is also extremely well-versed in network security issues. His hourly rate is entirely reasonable, IMHO. Finally, he is a REALLY nice guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.

He's a great guy and is very knowledgeable and patient. I decided not to install Starlink and instead I had AT&T connect a fiber optic line to the house. Later on, I wanted a direct line from our office upstairs to the router downstairs. Jasper came out and did a thorough assessment and consultation and then returned shortly thereafter to do the installation. Jasper went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it and that everything was working at its best. He even went to the store to get the specific CAT-6 cable with the color that we wanted. He was neat, efficient, earnest and, like Quintin, very knowledgeable and professional at what he does. Both men are great to work with, as well is their Project Coordinator Devin. They will give you their all! Excellent Communication, Installation and straightforward pricing from Darius at CatJacks!…read more I reached out to Darius to have 2 CAT6 drops and 1 Wireless Access Point Wired/Hung. Pricing was exactly as shown on the web-site. Scheduling was very simple using Calendly. On the day of installation, prior to our appointment, Darius texted me to ensure I was still available. I then received another 'location' text when he was on his way. Darius walked through the house and we discussed where I wanted each drop - for example, in the bedroom I wanted the drop to be just above my drawers, so that I could mount a TV there and easily plug in to CAT-6 rather than going over WiFi. Darius is very detail oriented and even went to the trouble of (measuring) to mount my AP to line up with the 2 lights that are in my hallway and entryway! After the walk-through, he marked each of the drops with painter's tape, then once again confirmed with me the locations. Darius vacumed/cleaned up after himself as he worked and did a very professional job - leaving the house in the same state as when he arrived, willing to explain anything he was doing. On completion, I tested the drops/AP - everything was good and we settled up! I'm very pleased with the work Darius did; as well as being very Professional, he is also a very personable chap who really knows his stuff. (to put in context, I'm an IT Infrastructure/Software Project Manager). In summary, I would definitely recommend Darius to anyone that needs either AP's to be hung or Network Drops!
