You WILL laugh and joke and chat and feel like you made a friend, and leave her business sort of stunned that you got all that plus a fantastic wax. You don't have a choice. Because Kat is THROUGH. I have never had a wax this smooth or this complete. She even denuded my lower belly ("this happy trail is not so happy") and parts of my upper thighs I'm too lazy to always shave ("it's messing up my masterpiece"). She used three different kinds of wax and was intensely efficient without ever making me feel rushed. She also didn't make me feel like a fat glob of rolling and undulating lard deposits, as is so often the case for big girls when we get waxed. She asked me to hold some of my skin tight, but I never felt grotesque or like I didn't belong there. I also had much less irritation than I've had with other wax experiences, and I really like that she didn't tell me to come back in four weeks. Six to eight. That seems so much more rational, manageable. Very refreshing. Bottom line: go see Kat. Your confidence will skyrocket ... but it might be difficult to resist the urge to show everyone how dang smooth you are down there.

After my last manicure with Mai, my nails have never been so healthy and long before. Took about five minutes to get a pedicure chair, which gave me just enough time to pick out a color (they have probably 100 options each for ANC and gel). I chose the Deluxe pedicure and Henry was my technician. He was absolutely lovely and gave one of the best foot massages I've probably ever had. He was meticulous with my cuticles, trimming my nails, and applying the gel polish. I left incredibly happy and will definitely be back for more services.

The new place is very modern yet cozy inside and the attention is completely personal and you're not waiting forever between appointments inside. In fact, she was extremely sympathetic and happy to take my appointment even though she would be fixing someone else's bad work. She told me about a time she'd gotten her hair done with disastrous results and had a hard time finding a salon to help her fix it, after which she vowed never to do the same thing to her customers. She was lovely and warm, and the lash extensions she gave me looked excellent, even though I didn't have much to work with.
