FRAUD! FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD ALERT! ZERO STARS! Went in to but a washer and dryer. Employee signed the contract on my behalf and signed me up for life insurance, health insurance, accidental insurance, and property insurance without my knowledge. After picking out the items i wanted and getting the approval through conns. I was asked to pick a signature and i did and that's when the employee started fiddling with the ipad. I asked at the end to review and sign the contract papers and i was told no i'm good to go which confused me since i haven't signed anything. Then i asked for a copy of my contract i was told that i'll be recieving my contract in my email later. It seemed fishy but i figured that's maybe a new way of dealing with things. Fast forward a month i go to make a payment and discover all the extra stuff that was added. Then i called customer service when i was blind sited by all the extra money i'm having to pay and i was told word for word "you accepted the item there's nothing we can do about it now". Then they sat there and blamed me for accepting the item. Like seriously who gets health insurance from conns? If my issue doesn't get resolved i will be reporting this to the better business bureau under fraud. An employee should never sign contract paperwork on the behalf of a customer. And they especially shouldn't be adding bs stuff to the contract. Like again who tfff gets insurance from conns. That's the equivalent of calling target and asking them for a doctor to perform medical surgery. I'm extremely upset! I purchased a couch loveseat and recliner, Hugh dollar all electric, first mistake, and the remotes have been stepped in and broken on 2 of them. I called Conns in Baytown Texas to get them to come replace the remotes. my warranty expired on these $5,000 couches 6 days ago. they refused to have anyone come out and repair these couches even if I paid for it. this is crap customer service, I have spent several thousand in that store for myself and my children. Do not shop Conn's Home Plus. They sold me a defective dishwasher and gave me the runaround for 2 weeks to deliver it. Finally delivered on 12/30. Then they no showed on the 2nd to install it. And when the installer finally came on the 8th, he said it was missing so many parts it could not work. When I called customer service, they said I exceeded the 3 day return policy and they won't take it back. When I bought it they were supposed to deliver it on 12/22 and install it on 12/27. The store manager said if it didn't work on installation I'd have three days to return it. Not 3 days from the time they dropped it off. Their own installer could not make it work. SCAMMERS & LIARS. Got some new cell phones for my kids at Best Buy. One of the numbers was apparently used in the past, and we have had ten calls in one day from Conns collections department for the past week. Sometimes the calls were all at one time, one right after the other. I told them we are not associated with Conns, we have never purchased from Conns, nor have we ever been into a store, we just activated this phone number, so please remove us from the call list. WE ARE GETTING TWENTY CALLS NOW. Thank God we are within the return policy for the phones, and will return the line to deactivate, and replace with another number. What a joke, I feel sorry for those who have had to use this store, they seem horrible! read more

Run !!! Do not waste your time here with there people. They took my 1,200 cash deposit and are giving me the runaround on my money . First it started bad with their terrible delivery crew that took me a damaged washer and dryer and after I pointed out the damage they told me " you get what you get " and I didn't accept the delivery. After going to the store to get my deposit, the manager told me to go get the money the next day , then I Show up the next day to pick up my money and a guy by the name of Victor who claims to be the manager of the manager tells me that that's not their policy and gives me the runaround these people are definitely con artist and I suggest y'all be careful with these people. read more

Well they did it again. We went to Conn's to find a microwave that matched our new stove... they have a display in the store, good price, we have a gift card, lets get it. their answer, "oh that a display we don't keep it in stock, its in our warehouse. we'll order it from the warehouse and deliver it to you for $80." Whaaaat? have it sent to the store, we'll pick it up, but no, they don't do that. they want to deliver a little microwave and they want to charge us for that and not even a reasonable delivery charge. I purchased three items on credit and it seemed like everything was going fine until it came down to my treadmill. There were none in the store (which was fine) and i was told to go to the warehouse on Market street and pick it up there. Got there and they didn't have one there either even though their computer said it did. So I called the salesman and he said he'd put in an order for one to be brought here from Dallas. Called him Monday and he said that they never put it on the truck and he would try to see if I could get a more expensive one that was available in the warehouse for the same price. Went there and at first the woman at the front desk told me it wasn't there, I told her I had been waiting for a week already and the salesman said that he had someone look for it and that it was there. She went and checked, found it, and said it was open. They told us it looked like someone just opened the box and closed it. Took it home, assembled it, just to find that the key is missing and the machine wont start without it. Called the salesman yesterday and he said he'd try to find me one and haven't heard from him since then. I know this is a very long review but I had to say EVERYTHING just to make my point which is, Conn's is a horrible company, they never have anything in stock, the workers at the warehouse are very unprofessional. I shouldn't have to wait more than a week for my item. It's utterly ridiculous. I'm pretty sure they're going to ask for the one I have back, and they'll get it back, assembled because I am not going to disassemble that thing. I will never do business there again. read more
