I don't usually do reviews but after seeing the lack of stars by one of my favorite stores I decided I should! I had the pleasure of walking into this store to compare prices and availability to the other stores and was impressed from the time the young lady came up to me until the delivery guys left a few days later! The entire experience was amazingly enjoyable! And affordable too! I'm 70 years old and have purchased my share of appliances and experienced my share of screw-ups. I was in desperate need for bedroom furniture for my mother's move to an assisted living facility. Conn's was the only place that said they had many sets in stock and could deliver immediately. My mother chose a bedroom set, which included a frame, headboard, mattress, chest of drawers and night stand. They scheduled delivery for the following Wednesday. I gave the salesperson the business card for the facility, which was less than 5 miles away. That card had the address and telephone numbers. He also had my contact information. On Monday I reviewed the invoice and noticed the salesperson had input the wrong address - #55 instead of #500. However, that facility is the only building on that street. I contacted customer service about the error and they said I should call Delivery. I called delivery and they said I should call the store. I called the store and they said they would take care of it. On Tuesday I called Delivery to confirm everything had been corrected. Was told it was taken care of. That evening I drove 100 miles from my house (in the rain) to the facility to stay overnight in a hotel so I could be there on Wednesday. I called Conn's on Wed morning to let them know I would be waiting outside for the truck. I was then told the delivery would not happen that day because the address was incorrect. OK, that was not what I expected to hear. My mom was out of her apartment waiting to move; I was staying in a hotel; and NO Delivery!!! I finally spoke with the manager and he apologized, saying they had to prepare a new invoice with the proper address and he couldn't guarantee we would get the delivery the next day. So, what was I going to do about my mom and my having the spend more money on a hotel? I asked if he would, at least, reimburse the delivery charge ($170) to compensate for the extra expenses on my part. He said he would take care of it. ONE MONTH LATER, I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND. Don't be conned by the nice showroom. Three of their employees (original salesperson, other salesperson that was supposed to correct everything, and the manager) definitely did not do their jobs. I want to start with saying the 2 managers I spoke with specifically from the Orange City location, are amazing!! Evan and David were very helpful after the mess that I dealt with through customer service. They are the only reason it's not only a 1 star review. BUT- the customer service and this company as a whole has been beyond disappointing. I bought a washer and dryer set, it was delivered quickly, but the washer had a large dent and the dryer connectors on the back were faulty. It took 3 weeks (and the managers from the Orange City location personally emailing the delivery managers and the district manager) to finally get the dryer replaced (still never got the washer handled but at this point I'm okay with the dent cause I'm tired of dealing with the customer service team). I would call customer service almost everyday asking for updates, and get transferred to the delivery team, then transferred to the installation team then transferred back to the main customer service line, and on and on and on. Nobody would give me any true answers on when I would receive my replacement. I was told contradicting answers between each person- one said I'd get a call from the delivery team in 24-48 hours, the next day I was told that it takes them 3-5 days to review the case and call me. I was told my case was in review, then the next day they told me that the case was "mysteriously closed" and they reopened it for me so it could be reviewed and resolved. Finally, I went into the store location (I hadn't done that yet cause I figured they only handled the sales and didn't have any control over customer service) and they reached out to the higher ups that they knew and even offered me their personal sales model (they usually can't do that but they were truly trying to keep me as a happy customer). I do appreciate the 2 managers and the other employees who helped me (I know there were a few and I don't quite remember other names), but this company as a whole seems very shady and unorganized. I'm happy my issue is now resolved, but I still would not recommend them to anyone! read more

Beware of their delivery. They contract out . Keep an eye on everything leave nothing laying around.

Delivery is horrible. Customer service is horrible. You cannot ever speak to a manager!! I do not recommend this place!! Once you buy anything you are on your own even when delivery is promised! No calls no show! read more
