I completely forgot to take pictures, but I still wanted to leave a review because Jennifer in the fabric section was so kind and helpful. She took the time to help me pick out a fabric that would work well for the project and made the whole process feel easy and fun. I'm honestly so happy with the fabric we chose. I'm not done with the project yet, but once it's finished I'll definitely come back and post pictures because I'm really excited about how it's turning out. The store itself is also very well organized and nicely put together, and there are so many creative goodies everywhere you look. It's one of those places where you go in for one thing and suddenly have ten new ideas. They also have really great prices, and sales which makes it even more fun to shop and try new projects. Went shopping for a specific book that they say is in stock and they have a few copies. It allowed me to order it for pick up, but could not find it in store. I did ask for help, but nobody was able to help me there was nobody in that section and I kept getting the runaround The store overall is not neat and organized. Stuff is just laying everywhere and it could be because it is the holiday season, but they seem to be short staffed as well.

This location in Orange City, Florida, is no exception! Whether you're looking for home decor, seasonal items, or even clothing, you're sure to find something at a great price. I recently visited and was impressed with the holiday decorations already on display, even before the holidays hit. There were lots of outdoor and indoor Halloween decorations, including fun costumes for dogs and people of all ages--from kids to adults. Some costumes are priced below $10, which is a steal! I also found festive Halloween party dishes, mugs, and other fun items to set the mood. The Christmas decor is also rolling in, so if you spot something you like, I'd recommend grabbing it early. I've learned from experience that waiting too long means the best items can be sold out closer to the holidays. This Ross location is one of the more organized stores I've been to. It's clean, and I appreciate that it's wheelchair-friendly, including the accessible bathrooms. The dressing rooms are also kept clean, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help you find what you're looking for. If you're trying to avoid long lines, I'd recommend visiting later in the evening. The lines can get busy between 5 and 6 PM as people stop by after work, but I've found that they move pretty quickly. Also, a neat touch for Florida shoppers: they always seem to have umbrellas for sale near the front of the store in case you get caught in one of our many rainstorms! I found a beautiful, large mirror in a distressed white frame for my entryway. I had been looking for the perfect mirror for at last a year. Paid only $25 for it. If you've ever shopped for mirrors, you know that's a wonderful price for a large mirror. If you have a dogs/dogs make sure to check out the dog toys. Ross always has good, sturdy dog toys at really great prices. They are usually 1/4 of the price you'll find them at Target or any of the pet stores. I have a Standard Poodle who is my service dog, so I always grab a few new toys for him each time I'm in Ross. The only complaint I have is the LONG, LONG line to check out. I shopped for about 15 minutes. I waited in line to check out for nearly 45 minutes. I know this is mainly because people just aren't wanting to work nowadays, so companies are having a difficult time finding people. This is seriously going to start hurting companies more and more if people don't go back to work because I'll come here one more time and if I see the line that long again, then I'll just go home and order a mirror online for $100+ and not waste my time standing in a line. It's a sad day when an American would rather sit on their ass and collect money from the government than get up and get a job. SMH.

We had chosen what we wanted and were just finalizing when (who we think was) the owner came in and sent her out. The whole atmosphere changed when this woman came in. She proceeded to tell us that everything we did for the last 45 minutes was wrong, kept trying to show us lower quality fabrics and then went on a rant about a 100 dollar "retainer fee" and told us she wasn't operating her business out of the back of a van and that too much time was already spent with us. Not really sure what lead to her attitude towards us but we were mortified at the the way we were treated. It was a shame because we were ready to move forward based on what we chose with the first girl, expected to spend around 6k and had no issue with leaving a 100 dollar deposit. We had to start again with another company, but we are so glad we did! We are looking forward to instillation in the next week or so. I definitely would not recommend this business!

I've never, ever had the poor service, the lip service, the UNprofessional conduct in any experience. I got piece meal delivery for the bedroom and some items not even in; the bedspread didn't fit; the design of window treatments didn't work and I had to spend more money to make it look right; the bed skirt didn't had right (I tried to tell Erika about our bed and the frame with rails), but lack of interest and lack of communication cost ME money. I had to pay to remake the bed skirt because it didn't fit correctly, you could see under my bed when the bed wasn't made. I was told that it was correct, and because I didn't like it, I could have it remade at my expense. And when it finally came in, it took 3 weeks for the decorator to put it on because she was busy. I began the project in June 2017 and the final piece (remade bed skirt) was brought in Feb. 2018. I was quoted prices to recover a bench that didn't happen... I was told that prices went up after the first of the year.... quite ironic since my room was quoted to have been done by fall. Owner lacks detail for the project (put 50 cent brass hooks on the wall for tie-backs) until I was quite adamant about having the hooks that match the drapery rods. So many things that I want to really move on and forget.
