We have been waiting on a new footboard for this bed as it looks like it was previously broken and someone tried to do a temporary fix on it, we did not notice this until we took it out of the cardboard that they put it in before we could look over it for problems! The men at the store will not help you load the furniture if you pick it up yourself, but if you have them deliver it they charge you for that! I would not recommend that anyone buy furniture from them.

You'll notice I mentioned the length of time we spent waiting for our furniture to come in. Well, let me just say... Those problems ARE NOT the manufacturer's issues. These people do not order the furniture on time. After finally receiving the loveseat we ordered (3 months later after being told 4 weeks...) it arrived WRONG. Ordered it with no skirt, it had a skirt. Ordered it with square feet, it had pointy feet. It stayed in the house all of 30 seconds before those boys loaded it back into the truck. We were livid. The lady of course blamed it on the manufacturer but the delivery boys confirmed it was ordered with a skirt and pointy feet. Ugh. So she says it should take another 2 weeks to have that fixed. REALLY? AFTER 3 MONTHS we have to wait another 2 weeks for alteration because of their blunder? Unbelievable. It gets better... 2 weeks turned into 5 weeks. Meanwhile, the cushions on our first couch were flat and uncomfortable. We sent them back to be re-stuffed (warranty covers this). Waited over 2 weeks to get that straight, with no couch cushions AND no loveseat to sit on. We were offered no discount after all the trouble we went through. We will NEVER GO BACK.

I then contacted Ashley's distribution center and was advised HomeTrends can send their driver to pick up our furniture and we could have our furniture tomorrow! I contact HomeTrends back with this info and Joann had the audacity, the pure gall, to tell me if we want a refund, we'd have to pay THEM $540 - that's total BS! I'm not someone who rolls over and takes crap. The BBB, The NC Attorney General's office and the Civil Courts in my town will be hearing from me.
