I first started with ACL prehab before surgery, and then returned for post-operative ACL rehabilitation. What immediately stood out about Evolution is the true one-on-one care. Your therapist is focused entirely on you - your injury, your progress, and helping you get back to living your life. Working with Nick helped rebuild my leg strength far beyond what I expected. Somewhere along the way I realized I wasn't just recovering from an ACL injury, I was actually getting stronger overall. So yes... the person who once described herself as allergic to exercise somehow ended up continuing with personal training at Evolution. Nick has a rare ability to meet you exactly where you are and help you get stronger from there. After months of working with the team, the progress has been incredible. I'm stronger, more mobile, and more confident than I've been in years. Choosing Evolution was one of the best decisions I made during my recovery. One of the things I really appreciate about this clinic is the environment. During sessions I see people recovering from all kinds of injuries and conditions, and watching their progress is genuinely inspiring. I also see a lot of people coming in with knee injuries and sports-related injuries, and it's amazing to watch them get stronger week by week. It's clear the therapists here are specialists who know how to guide people through recovery and back to living fully. The whole team is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely fun to be around. But charged for the full hour under the senior therapist. Prior to starting, I had requested on several occasions statement/bills for services I had since I was out of network and wanted to pay as I go so as to not rack up a huge bill at the end. I had done this through email with the administration and with the front desk. I was informed that statements/bills were issued at the end of the month. I also was asked for a credit card too. Next thing I know, my credit card is charged and I have no bill of service. Supposedly, my account stated that I requested no bill or statement. Patently incorrect. Long story short, I was disappointed with the business model and to some extent the care I was given at Performance Optimal.

I struggle with medical issues…read morethat are "invisible" (EDS, fibromyalgia, CFS, mitochondrial dysfunction), which oftentimes cause medical professionals to write me off and treat me disrespectfully. One physical therapy practice treated me like I was just there to get pain pills, though I've never requested any pills whatsoever. Nancy and her staff at Access are fabulous. No one at Access has ever treated me with anything less than respect. I'm in my fourth month here now and I know they believe in me and just want to help me progress as much as I can. Nancy has even shown me some new therapies that I think are helping. They aren't afraid to make me work to feel better and I get much better results because of it.
