The evaluator suggested he would greatly benefit from private therapy. I started searching for places after calling the Children's Hospital which had a...wait for it...1 year wait time for an evaluation only. Acorn has online scheduling (!) and text reminders for appointments. They also had openings for an evaluation within a week or two, sooner if you are open on time. There are multiple types of therapy offered as well as some sort of summer camp type thing. The lobby has toys to play with while you wait. There are multiple kids in therapy with different therapists at the same time which I've seen as a benefit. My kid loves coming here. He stands at the door signing "open" waiting for his therapist (Jenna Beth) to come get him. The appointment time is the same every week. They have been open 2 years at this point and are privately owned. I highly suggested giving this place a try if you are looking for therapy for your little one. They accept insurance and all my visits are covered.

It didn't go well! My father was in the hospital with pneumonia and came in through the ER via…read moreambulance! The EMS had him diagnosed with an infection when he arrived. The ER was quick to respond and fast acting. That's about where the good ends and the bad begins. They missed meals while admitted, they almost let him bleed out and had to call a code team to respond. He is on blood thinners but was treated the entirely wrong way! I don't want to freak people out so I'm not posting pictures. They were doing the exact opposite of what everything on the Internet said to do and a DR even admitted they were doing it wrong. Then even after this was finished and we requested ENT to look at him he was released to rehab where he had another nose bleed even worse and they had to put a rhino rocket in for 72 hours. No pain meds were given until requested and the 12 hours later he had only gotten one dose. Mind you I was there during 90 percent of this and he is for all intents and purposes non verbal. The nurse felt bad and was very attentive after she didn't realize he hadn't gotten any pain or anxiety medicine for having an almost 3 inch ballon in his nasal passage. Like WTF. I'm so pissed I can't imagine if he had no one to advocate for him what would they have done to him. A year ago I would have been in jail after the first part of this experience for a long time. This is disgraceful. I forgot to mention. The first morning I came in his entire bed was soaked in urine sheets and all and I have photo evidence of all of this. It is atrocious and negligent! I have even tried contacting several people in the hospital and told I would be contacted and haven't heard back and I told them hey had 48 hours before I began my journey to exposing them. 5 days and many other things to report we are going to the state health and senior services after this and we will not stop. I'm one thing and that is tenacious and I will get you on the news and hopefully have our day in court with you Mercy! Good luck! So much more to say but seriously try and keep your family out of everything but the ER and know what your family member needs and don't leave them alone there it will be bad if you do.

I ignored it for a while which was dumb & because of that it was really starting to affect my daily life. I had a lot of discomfort while sleeping, was limited on lifting things over my head & reaching certain ways. I also could tell my shoulder was getting weaker. My therapist at Cora Creve Coeur was Joey and we meshed so well from the start! During my first interaction with him, I could tell his expertise, professionalism and dedication were going to be second to none. You could also tell that he was incredibly caring and he listened to what I had to say about my symptoms. I felt heard with Joey and knew he was going to improve my range of motion and decrease the pain I was having. Through a very detailed & comprehensive assessment of my shoulder, he was quickly able to pinpoint what was going on & came up with a game plan of strengthening/range of motion exercises, stretches, massages, & muscle scraping techniques. PT is of course, not the most exciting thing to go through but Joey made things fun, effective and truly made a difference in my shoulder recovery. I left Cora with no pain, range of motion that was back to normal and gained so much strength back in my shoulder. It's been quite a few months since I've finished up there and my should still feels totally normal and healthy. Also wanted to say that Allison at the front desk is the sweetest person, works so hard, is professional and does everything in her power to help get patients set up with whatever they need. I've never heard anybody here complain about the care here one patient he's been at five different rehab centers and he said this one was the best. His mother was here and she loved it. that's the reason he tried it on As I said, don't mind first review hopefully I never have to go back to a rehab center but if I do, there's no question on which one I would pick everybody has been very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and I don't think you could ask for more than that. I talked to people From the CEO here to the cooks people that clean and everybody has been very pleasant to deal with, and I could not ask for more than That. The PT instructors were very knowledgeable patient and we're not afraid to tell you when you're doing something wrong. That's your job. I said I'll tell you when you do something wrong but they never yell at you. They tell you what you're doing wrong and try to explain to you what you did so you can collect your mistake

I saw my medical oncologist, Dr. Bagegni, with lab work August 8, 2022. I saw my radiation oncologist, Dr. Laura Ochoa, August 18, 2022, checking in the same lobby. This seems to be the normal program in this lobby. I did not need a blood draw at this time. I had great care on both visits.

I believe management needs to hear from people like myself and my wife to better understand their patient concerns and frustrations.
