My husband and I are seniors with many health problems and simply could not afford the high cost. On my last office visit, I paid the office $2000 for the future work to be done. When I found out my insurance was not going to cover any of the costs, as first told to me by the office, I requested a detailed invoice for any current charges and a refund for the money that was left. Two months later, I have yet to see either one. The staff continues to give me the run around, "we have to talk to the doctor ", "its been mailed", and so forth. I can't get my $2000 back and in these days of very high living costs, it HURTS! My husband and I need our $$$$ back!

At other dental clinics, you only need to pay less than $200 out of pocket, and $179 of that is a once-a-year fee that won't be charged again for your next visit. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this greedy clinic.

It took five weeks of back and forth with a rude Anderson Dental administrative worker, who kept interrupting me, telling me to stop talking, and spouting nonsense about the importance of communication and recognizing that these processes take time (FIVE WEEKS!? Just admit that you forgot or were trying to wait me out) to receive payment from Anderson Dental after they'd acknowledge that they had misled me. These people are scammers and their workers should be embarrassed that they stoop to trying to steal from graduate students. Never going back.

Plenty of parking in the lot. Courtney was my hygienist today and she was wonderful. She listened to my ramblings about how much I hate the dentist. She was mellow and I felt like she gave my teeth a very thorough cleaning. She was just the right combination of quiet and talkative during the cleaning. (my hygienist in California was very chatty and it's hard to answer questions with sharp instruments in your mouth). There is a tv on the ceiling so you can watch while you have your cleaning. Courtney caught on fast that the show on the History channel was about mass murderers (not a very calming show) and she switched the channel to ESPN for me. Next Dr Arnold (Bill) came in and introduced himself. He was great. Very down to earth and approachable. We chatted a bit about California and then he began his exam. Again, great exam and he gave me advice about some tooth sensitivity I have been experiencing. Next appointment is six months from now and even though I will still be freaked out, I won't be AS freaked out. Definitely recommend. If you have been putting off a dental exam, go see Dr Arnold.

Dr. Cloyd is a wonderful man, very reassuring and kind. He has helped me decide what to do about several dental procedures and I was/am very happy with the results. Dr. Gooding was an excellent addition to his practice! She is wonderful with children. Adults too as I've seen her multiple times as well, but she's especially great with children! She is compassionate and caring, and is able to fill a cavity without my child even realizing what's going on! She does a wonderful job telling them what's happening without making it scary or frightening. I had an issue during a procedure and Dr. Gooding went above and beyond to make sure that I was alright and that we got the issue taken care of. I have heard some people say that Crownhill is more expensive than other dentist practices but for me the service and care I receive make it entirely worth it. I will never go anywhere else!

They work with new dental assistants, but have had the same employees for years. Have had issues over the years. Once we called Dr Guido at about 6:00 AM because of an issue that arose. It was the only time we could contact them to tell them we weren't going to be able to make our appointment that day. He was very nice about us waking him up early. The Corona virus, he contacted us on a Saturday evening to touch base in person about our up coming appointments. Can't say enough THANKS for the way they have worked with us over the years. You are a person with real life situations not just a number. Even though they are not a children's dental office, they work well with the little ones too.
