It's takes a lot of time to find the option of speaking to live agent. Your web portal is of no use to raise complaints. One chat agent said there will be a form to raise complaint, but there is no such thing. I called to speak to live agent, after waiting for more than 20 mins a person spoke but disconnected the line with out conversation. Later again I called and waiting for 30 mins to speak to live agent and he provided support. They hold on to your money for dear life. They "credit you back" but take two months to do so; completely unacceptable. Your told 3-5 days for processing but here I am being told I won't see a dime 60+ days after my dispute, which by the way was entirely the fault of electric company and nothing to do with me. Since when is it okay for a business to hold on to your money that is owed back to you for 60+ days? Anyone else have this issue? Overcharged in several Properties both Rental and Condo . Conservice, bills resident without meters under RUB and the bill without reading meters when the do exist on property. I was able to reach a real human being fairly quickly after suffering through your AI tree of mass confusion. The representative was nice though her accent was a little confusing. I was unaware that my apartment complex made its tenants pay for water, sewer,trash services. I rented the apartment 3-4 months ago but didn't move in permanently until 2 weeks ago. When I checked my mail for the first time I found your bills and panicked. Once I verified with the complex that I was responsible for them I called your company the 1st time to apologize for being a "deadbeat" customer and advise you I was paying the bill in full that day and signing up for autopay that day too. Once I did that via your website I perused the bill and was confused by the amount of water usage as I hadn't been using any for the 1st few months. So I called a 2nd time to get an explanation on how your bill was prepared. The 2nd representative gave me the explanation I needed. The 2nd representative had an extremely thick accent but we were able to understand each other. Though it sounded like she thought I was ignorant for not knowing what I was billed for and why. This is the 1st time since college, I'm 65, that I've lived in an apartment so I feel my need for an explanation was a valid one and not ignorant. So, to wrap this up, the 1st representative was clearly accepting my apology for being a deadbeat customer with the humor it was intended to be. Love in apartment who has chosen this company to bill us for water and sewer. They couldn't give me a brake down on how they figure out usage and if it includes the watering of the grass, the office staff when they work etc. All they could day it was based on community usage. Then it depends on square footage, occupancy of number of people ON the lease. So people that have others living with them that are not on lease we pay for. It has nothing to do with how much you actually use. I'm paying same as neighbor next door that has 2 people and a kid. Make it make sense. read more

I'll be blunt: Your site doesn't offer a preview of my Bill, just a PAY and then an accept the $3.00 fee as well. A stamp costs less and takes more human handling to process it, about 80 cents. That is nearly 4 payments vs the $3.00 electronic service fee. Next, i wanted to "See" my next month's amount due, all i could get from your date is, you have ZERO balance due, that alone is good news, but it didn't allow me to make a future payment, thus i cannot give your site or service a 3+ let alone a possible 4. Your company isn't a user friendly or intiative site. You might want to divert some of your service fees into more online options without fees as psyments should have a "pay more" function. This way i and others can eliminate getting hit with $3.00 fees each month. I could lower this to a 2 just for spite for the same reasons i just detailed that should and could make your online services options better. End of review. Annoyed and shackled tenant! read more

Conservice added Vacant Charges to my bill that belong to a different building and different meter, let alone a different address. I contacted them to fix it, gave them the proof, they realized their mistake, but they are refusing to fix the current bill, stating they can only give me credit for it next month after I pay it. Side note, they also charge me double for the amount of water I use. There is literally a water meter on each apartment, but they don't check them. They just make larger apartments pay more for water. read more

Conservice strike again! After not using this crappy utility provider for almost 3 years I find myself out looking at apartments. The first question I ask is "who bills the utilities?". Yesterday I found the perfect apartment complex, so I thought. They said they use CONservice and I let them know exactly how I and the multitude of others feel about Conservice; and for that reason I would not rent an apartment at this complex. The lady working there understood because of the number of complaints she gets about them from the current residents there. I was utterly perplexed to receive a Conservice bill via email on 31 May 2024 for the service period of 4/24/2024-05/25/2024 in the amount of $107.41 when my historically low usage is approximately $40. I understand the Common Area Fee was something that should have been charged all along but hadn't been. This fee is for the electric in the community amenities center and nothing else. After being on hold for an hour whilst multi-tasking, I opted to have an agent call me back, which transpired ~45 minutes after I submitted the option. I spoke with Carl, who was absolutely awesome. He was able to explain why my bill as well as ~90% of the other community residents received significantly higher bills on 31 May. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, articulate, and spent time explaining all of the nuances of the bill making sure all of my questions were answered. Apparently, there was a reporting issue that went back to November 2023 where not all charges were being reporting. The sewer is connected to the cold water, and it was not able to accessed for months. He confirmed we are not He advised the * next to charges on the second page of the statement denotes estimates. He advised any number after a line item charge is explained on the second page of the statement as well. He went further into explaining more of how charges were calculated, which I found super helpful in understanding the bill. Going forward, if I see an * or a number next to any charges, I'll make sure to download the statement since the email gives a high level overview. The May was essentially a "catch up" bill for me as well as the majority of the other residents of the community. He was able to see my forthcoming bill for 05/05/2024-06/05/2024 was $54.01, which after deducting the $9.34 Common Area Fee, was more in alignment with my historical usage. I'm grateful Carl was the person to whom I spoke. He is an asset to Conservice, and he should be given kudos as well as a promotion and a big raise. I wish other companies had employees as exceptional as Carl!!! read more

For one thing you have no way for me to pay without a convenience fee and by the way they are for your convenience. Don't tell me I can mail by check. You are in CA and I'm in MN. You give us 10 days once mailed to pay you. That is not enough time to do that. I certainly do not want you to have access to my account with automatic payment. It's just sad that as a renter at The Guild that I have to pay such an absorbent amount for water and sewer services and then on top of that a monthly fee for a company to do the billing. The water is adequate and I've never paid for sewer services; I guess just what the Town of Pittsboro and owners of The Guild have pre-determined. read more
