Super small screen, old seats that are coming apart. Staff was kind. Nothing else about this place impressed me at all. Also the seating is pretty flat and if someone tall is in front of you your view is blocked.

    Chairs needed an update.

Chairs needed an update. Service was fast and they have a new rewards program. The old rewards card doesn't work anymore. Please be sure that you park upstairs as they close the mall if you're watching late night movies. Only doors open will be from the movie theater itself.

Nothing like the movies... When a friend says let's go see a movie it was an unexpected girls night that I'm so down for and was actually quite excited since it's been quite awhile since I've been to see a movie. As it's the holiday season I decided for Pearlridge Center as there's a bar adjacent to the theaters and with lots of free parking just steps away it's perfect sense for this location which is at the Wai Makai side on the upper level sharing space with Nehu Market which is their food court. To purchase tickets and our seats it seems like majority of the theaters has illuminated the box office and is now done inside right beside the food service counter and not sure how they monitor it all as we just walked in on our designated show time without anyone checking or directing us in the direction...not that we needed that but is very strange as it used to be a gated entry now just seems like it's all done on a trust basis. My overall experience is great though the seats seem nice and clean and seems like it all are done with just a handful of staff sadly they all worked efficiently and we enjoyed our screening which was Wicked and it indeed it was! Thank you!

8/12/25 $3 hot dog Tues special & small popcorn $10

8/12/25 I've come here twice over the last couple of months after not being in a theater in yrs. This theater was renovated a few years ago & now all theaters have recliner seats with tray. Such a nice change from yrs ago. The rows are also wider so you don't have to be crawling over legs and feet to get to the inner seats. I've gone on Tuesdays since they have a $7 any movie special and $3 hot dogs (regular $7). Popcorn, drinks, and other snacks still sky high expensive. You don't get your tickets at the box office but inside the door to the farthest right of the snack bar. I went to the early show so maybe they open the box office on weekends. You select your seats on the register screen before paying. Then you move over to the actual snack bar to order. All the personnel were very nice and friendly & provided great customer service. They are now charging 25 cents if you want an extra box. All transactions come with a box, just the extras will cost you. The facility is very clean from the lobby, bathroom, and the theater. I was concerned when I read previous reviews of odors and trashy seats. But to my surprise, both times I went, no odors. That was in theater 1 and 9. The seats are pretty worn but not all of them. The recliner seats are comfortable, reclines just like at home. The chairs have a high back so at least you're not looking at the back of somebody's head. Sound system was good and the a/c did get a little cold but not freezing. You can order your tickets and concession stuff ahead of time off their website. I tried to do that the first time & had problems with it not putting my order thru. I found out when I went to the theater that their website will get glitchy sometimes. Overall, I had a pleasant experience which has made movie-going enjoyable.

Be prepared to feel inflation's effects when you come to the movies now. We come to this theater often, but recently they have started charging for an additional popcorn box and jalapenos shucks. The chairs have been warn down and usually the lobby is hot, luckily the AC is working in the movie theater. Overall it's not usually crowded but be prepared to be nickled and dimed.

Love coming here after shopping or just eating at the food court before watching movie with family.

Taking the kids to $1 movies-KEIKI HUI
    Birdie H.

Well tbh, the good about this place is... it's convenient for us to go to for the movies. But the bad side is, their concession is EXPENSIVE! $52 for a medium popcorn, 2 medium drinks which the lady said was a #2 ($17.00) and cheaper than a medium popcorn ($9.50) & large drink ($10.00), but it seems like the kid charged me for each medium sodas ($8x2=$16). Then I got 2 kids pack ($8x2=$16) and 2 candies ($7x2=$14). Overall everything cost MORE than it's worth! And the popcorn was TERRIBLE! Sorry guys... I usually DONT say anything is terrible but today's popcorn was epically terrible. It was dried out and tasted bland as if it was sitting overnight. You know how you have that left over popcorn you bring home and then forgot about it in the fridge and the next day you eat it, YEAH! That's exactly HOW it tasted. I'm assuming they weren't ready or they didn't prep anything in the morning because we got there around 10:15am and rather than the kid tell us they open soon we can buy tickets inside, he tells us they don't open until 10:30 so we'll have to use the kiosk to buy our tickets. Yeah, today's crew was trying. The manager however was really kind and helpful. Then when they did our sodas, tell me why the other kid didn't pay attention to the foam settling down and refilling it to the top?! I mean $8.00 for a medium drink and you didn't see the soda go down like almost half way??? So BE MINDFUL when you get your drinks too. Especially because people may accuse you sipping from it, so the moment you see you drink BELOW the rim... ask to fill to the top! I'm glad we didn't host the premier here at Pearlridge. I wouldn't have had a great promotion. If anything, I think next week we'll try Olina. Because Ward is a hassle to get to and to find Peking and then dealing with all the crowd just to get to your theater. I'm going to make sure we go to either Kahala or Olina for the next movies. Kahala was pretty decent with the last premier we had with HIFF. It wasn't our movie, but we were guests to the show by the producer and it was simply nice. Anywho, Pearlridge needs a lot of work done to get this place up and running again. If it's open because of it being in the mall, then it's a good thing the mall is still bringing customers in because if they were stand alone, I think they'd be shut down by now. Even the theaters wasn't that great. The seats were all peeling. I think I have a piece of leather STUCK TO THE BACK IF MY PANT ON MY @$$. (PARDON THE FRENCH) But it embarrassing to walk around with something from somewhere else you have no idea of. And then too the theater was HOT! As if they didn't pre-cook the place down or perhaps just turned on the A/C so we were dripping with sweat. I had to find something to fan us down. Only after 30 minutes after the movie started is when it started to get cool. When the movie ended, it was finally cold. I'm sorry... I don't like making bad reviews but today... it wasn't great. The only reason why I didn't make a big stink about it because we paid $1 for today's KEIKI HUI MOVIE. For those of you who's wondering what's that! Well, for the whole summer CONSOLIDATED THEATERS are hosting KEIKI HUI MOVIE DAYS on BOTH TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS for only $1/per person. (YES! EVER PERSON MUST PAY, INCLUDING PARENTS) Anywho, the movies are pre-selected for the week and they both are a ONE TIME SCREENING @ 11am on both days. So, my advice is... if you want seats PREPAY for your tickets. But it's gonna cost you MORE than a dollar per person. In fact, it'll cost you $3.14/per person to process the tickets online, to pre-order in advance to PICK YOUR SEATS & then to pre-purchase and reserve your spot and tickets for that day! Worth it?! SURE! If you have a large group of you. If not and it's only 2-4 of you, you can chance it and go in to Oy that $1 fee. And when I mean $1/per person, I mean $1/per person! Only problem is... you can't choose your seats SEE! Those who PRE-PAID will have their seats before you! Like us we waited to go in and had to sit I. The very front row. However, I was FINE! We tried moving to the row behind us AFTER 10 minutes into the movie, tell me why the lady and her 3 kids and their grandma are standing at the end looking at us in their seats. HAHAHAHA! SHUX! We thought we got lucky in that one. Anyways, if you can't make it too far, Pearlridge is an option to watch these $1 movies, otherwise... I'd say chance it to another consolidated theater for better tasting popcorn. lol! Kk thanks for reading guys! Have a good one. ~CIAO!

I understand having policies and that there are ppl that will sneak into the movie theater. But how about some respect. I went to the bathroom while watching a movie today. I couldn't find the bathroom in the movie theater so I went in the food court. I left my bag with my ticket inside and when I came back I was being questioned like they knew I didn't pay because they didn't see me leave. He doesn't have any proof but will treat me like I did something wrong. He insisted on following me back to my seat and showing my ticket. Not even an apology. There is a way to talk to people. I came for convenience and hopefully won't have to come back here. I left a picture of my movie ticket in case they wanted to see it one more time a reminder to show kindness everyone

Some chairs are definitely worn out, but not all.

This Theater is inside Pearlridge Downtown Mall, next to the food court. Very convenient if you want catch a movie. I had a lot of elementary and early Highschool memories at this location. A lot has changed over the years and the theater still remains the same. Outdated, and signs that used to display the screening rooms and movies are no longer working (based on observation). You would have to double check the printed paper outside the door. Not all chairs our worn out, besides the the hotspots. Like today, technology is used to reserve your spot inside the theater. Book online, trough your phone, or through the kiosk that used to be the ticketing area. Enter through the open door to the concession area and they will scan your QR code there and they will proceed to take your snack order, if you would like. My popcorn was a little warm and a little stale. It didn't seem like freshly popped popcorn since i came in 30min after the theater opened. I'm thinking it sat out for a little longer, but you would think it would be more on the hotter side and still fresh. Oh well, it was just a little disappointing, but hey theater popcorn is still good.

Inside the Pearlridge shopping center in the food court on the 3rd floor. You need to purchase your tickets at a kiosk machine then go in to show your tickets at the snack counter. The lobby was very spacious and there was not many people inside. Went to see Duke Watermen there was only us and 2 other customers in the theater, I was very surprised that the number of customers was so low because at the ward consolidated was sold out. It was a very very good movie which covered the lift of Duke Kahanamoku's life. The chairs were pretty well used and you could tell the best seats in the house, because the chairs covering were worn out pretty bad, maybe that might be the reason for the low count of customers. No mask required!

If you like the smell of grandmas basement this place is for you, leather seats that are sticky, small screen, and chairs that sit all the way up to block your view! Super small and not too enjoyable. Go to consolidated theaters in Mililani... that's an amazing theater ran by the same company. I was confused on why this place was a ghost town when I came in but now that I'm here watching a movie I realize why. Pros: candy was good and bathrooms were clean. Cons: stinky basement smells (could be good for horror movies), leather seats that get sticky cause the humidity, small screen.

It's always just me and my significant other or myself and another couple. Kind of crazy to me because when I was younger, the movies would always be packed. Now here I am with my unlimited movies experience from Groupon ($21 for three months unlimited), and an empty room. I like to sit at the accessible area where the two seats are isolated and closer to the screen. I also purchased a snack saver coupon that will last all year. It allows me to have 50% off on a large popcorn and a large soda every time I visit. These two items cost about $21 so it basically pays for two visits worth which is not bad considering the savings you get all year, It's worth it if you go to the movies often. I enjoyed my experience at this location. Bathrooms are also very clean and inviting. Seats are recline-able. My only family would be that there wasn't a table like they have in Regal Kapolei Commons. What a great movie night! ---- I woke up bright and early today to catch the 7:30 AM premiere of Wicked: For Good at Regal, and it was absolutely worth it! I had 24,000 points saved on the Regal app, so I redeemed a free slushy and upgraded to a large for just a dollar. After rounding up for donation, they surprised me with a free pair of pink Wicked 3-D glasses. The theater itself was peaceful and almost empty, just our party of two and one other group. Overall, a perfect morning at the movies. Can't wait to go back!

At 6 regular guests may go downstairs to the grassy courtyard. And let the eating and drinking begin!! There were generous small plates provided by the various chefs/restaurants. My favorite dishes were -Basalts, Chef Malani Iokepa's Lebanese Spiced Braised Lamb -Feast, Chef Jon Matsubara's Salt Beef Sumida Watercress Consomme -Roy's Ko Olina, Roy Yamaguchi & Darryl Shinogi's Seared Bristol Bay Scallops, -Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Adrian Solorzano's Truffled Crab Arancini -Mariposa, Lance Kosaka's Lemon Pepper Grilled Kauai Shrimp and Sweet Corn, Bacon, Dashi Butter Sauce (loved the corn/bacon/butter) -The Pearl, Chris Garnier's, Hawaiian Kanpachi Crudo -The Pig and the Lady Andrew Le, Kristene Moon Vietnamese Shave Ice with Pandasan syrup and fruit on the bottom (like Halo Halo) There was a large canopy table for the purchasers of tables. For our tickets we got the standing tables. There were reserved low tables for guests that needed that arrangement. My friend and I joined a couple at a stand up table, with a mother couple joining later. We all took turns saving the table while we brought back food for each other. Great people and fun times. We heard that the event used to be held upstairs indoors. But the other guests said they liked the courtyard, open air setting much better--the strung lights, cool light wind and out door atmosphere made for a lovely venue. At the end of the evening, my friend and I discussed it and we would definitely return. More pics to post soon
