I play all three of these games
Angel H.

I live in town, so I don't come to Pearlridge often. However, when I do I stop by Tilt from time to time. I love to play games. This place is kind of small, but they have great games. As with all game places, it can get kind of pricey. I love giving arcades all my coins, lol. My favorite games are the coins push ones. They have about three of them here. Some of the other games that I like to play are Super Spin and Skee Ball. They even have the Water Game like at the carnivals.

Small arcade tucked away in Uptown Pearlridge at the back of the food court. You can access the arcade from the parking lot coming in through a door on the side also. There's not much and is more geared toward younger kids but it passes the time and the prizes are not bad either. Tons of old school games, coin games, racing and giant claw games with huge prizes. My favorite games are down the clown and skeeze ball. It's was pretty empty when we went to visit and were just walking through but I shot some photos to post for Yelp. They have a token machine to exchange your dollars near the prize counter and restrooms are in the food court leaving Tilt.

My daughter and hubby are gamers lol! They love to go places like this where they have games. They truly enjoyed playing games here playing the crane machines. Cost money to play but if you have a card, you can load it with money by swiping it through the machine kiosk. The inside was fairly small which you can only fit so many people inside. There was only one guy working the counter. Kind of a negative when there's a line of people behind you. I didn't want to stay too long as it was getting crowded inside. A definite plus when you have kids. Bring them here! A place for fun with the family.

This NEW TILT in (lower) Pearl Ridge located across Jeans warehouse, next to Expressions. I think there was A Sanrio there before. The upgraded Arcade games are awesome, though a bit pricey but WORTH IT. Just seeing how my 3 year old grandson enjoy himself and dance to the music of the animated interaction games like Mario's haunted Mansion makes it worth every penny. The tickets earned from those games can be used towards prizes. They still need to improve that part, but they have these little Fidgets (60 tickets) that are perfect for little fingers and my Grandson loves it, he's always playing with it. So well Worth it...

Im old school, but after all these years, I still got it!

TILT---MRC=3% Does anyone still remember what TILT was? Them pinball machines right? When you rock the pinball machine hard enough to cheat the ball into rolling a certain way? At least thats the way I remember, ironically, theres no pinball machines here or any game where the exploiting concept is simulated, however, there are other things that ARE being tilted lol. The whole convert real money into fake money is nothing like the old arcades and the fun doesn't last as long as back in the day either. Instead its easy to blow through your digital currency when you actually think about how much each game or "attempt" to win at some of these games is. Set a limit and be done with it or burn a hole in your wallet in a few minutes, your choice! So there's 2 locations of TILT at Pearlridge Shopping center one is in Phase 1/Uptown/Mauka, first floor just between the Applebees and Food Court. The other is located 2nd floor of Phase 2/Downtown/Wai Makai. For simplicity and sanitys sake (I dont even know why they keep changing the name of the places!) I'll just refer to both as location 1 and 2 and list what I observed! Location 1: Smaller, feels like a cramped damp basement! Darker, not as lit in back area (Teens smooching in dark corners) More Arcade Type Video Games Odd Smells More Ride type games Close to Exits, Parking Right next to Restroom and Food Court Prize exchange mediocre (Nephews own words not mine! "sucky these prizes") Winning Ratio, not rigged and not too bad, see pic. Location 2: Bigger and Taller Brighter, more Lit Bigger Machines Skee Ball and Basketball More Co op and multiplayer games (there was a VR game that was drawing a crowd of kids squealing in excitement) Moderate walking from Exit and Parking Restrooms somewhat close Better Prize Redemptions Winning Ratio, Losing more than winning I miss the old Tilts and Arcades, but this is still better than nothing. I dont see this as a month thing, or everytime were in the mall kinda thing, maybe more seasonal or special occasion. Although we went to both, It kinda feels like half the fun is missing or something when you are at one, and if theres anything being tilted besides the cost to fun ratio, its my head trying to figure out why this place is split in two!

As a child I remember this place as a game room. Took a look recently and half the games are casino like slot machines. They take up half the game space. The other half were a mix of traditional games and children games. While I was there had more elderly people playing those slot like machines then teenagers playing the games. I would have never have thought that an arcade for teenagers has now been replaced with arcades for seniors in Hawaii. Bad part is all the seniors that hop on planes to play slot games in Vegas can just stay in Hawaii to play slots. Vegas will missing out on all that money.

Tilt is perfect for kids of all ages! They just opened a NEW TILT at the old Foot Action next to Journey in Pearlridge by Sears side. Love the new location!! My daughter went ape shhh in there!!

Ask the Community - Tilt Pearlridge

Anyone know if we can keep the balls with the tickets or do we have to redeem them?

You can keep the ball or redeem it for tickets.

Does the arcade have a game called Wangan Maximum tune 5?

Hi Sean, we don't have this game but we do have Initial D 4.

Does the tilt downtown Pearlridge still have the Wizard of OZ GAME? If so does anyone want two complete sets?

Yes, our downtown location does have the Wizard of Oz game and at this time we are not interested in purchasing any more sets.

I can't believe I never wrote a review here, and sadly, they will be closing in a few short days!…read moreWe love Chuck E Cheese Pearl City! We've had so many fun memories here with my two little boys. The best thing about Chuck E Cheese is how reasonable the game play is. For $20 bucks, you can play for close to an hour, especially if just one kid is playing. We've been coming here since my 4 year old was just a baby. We celebrated his 3rd birthday here! And this was one of our first family outings when my new baby who is now 1 was born. We love the staff here. They are friendly, helpful, and made my sons' visits each time special. On my oldest son's birthday, they had Chuck E come out and sing to him and brought him a slice of cake. It was so special! The games are fun and the space is clean. It's on the older side, but everything is well cared for. The food is a little pricy and not much to write home about, but we've eaten here more than once. The wings and fries are our favorite. Overall, we are SO sad to see it go. We hope to visit the other locations, but Pearl City holds a place in our hearts!

My family had a great time here, watching the kids having fun, and also I enjoyed playing some of the arcade games myself too. They had a zombie shooting game and the Mario kart that were both really engaging. I also liked the skeeball and any shooting games as well. The climbing gym here was much smaller than the kalihi location, actually overall it's just a smaller place, but it's not as chaotic and I feel like it's cleaner too. As for the food, I don't care for their chicken tenders / nuggets, but I thoroughly enjoyed their bbq chicken, meat and ranch pizzas! Their crust had a really good garlic flavor. The last time I went to a Chuck E. Cheese was a year ago, and I had been thinking about their pizzas. A year later they still tasted delicious! Shout out to the staff too because they're all friendly and helpful. One game didn't work after tapping my card, and the staff went to give us a free game. If you decide to come back on your own, make sure you keep the play card. It costs money to get a new card. Their pricing for parties is not unreasonable. I'd consider this as a spot for kids party!

So it's 200 points for $20 and 1500 points for $100. All rides average 30points and that's only because Sunday 12n-6pm is at a discount. It could be more in the evening. Compared to long time ago there's less rides and game booths. The pre-paid cards is also good for games and food booths . They do not except any cash at the game booths anymore. It was a new experience for me but I guess it's easier that way plus more efficient. It was very hot on a Sunday afternoon but my grand nephew had fun that's the main thing . We also had pizza and cotton candy to bring home . I guess due to Covid19 it's hard to maintain workers so EK Fernandez have to go on a smaller scale carnival. It was smaller than I could remember way back when . Support local so they can still be in business

We've been told it's full, that there aren't enough kids, or that they could only play for 30 minutes. This time, I called ahead to make sure there was space before driving over. The person I spoke with told me they were open and had plenty of room. I explained that we would arrive in about 30 minutes. He said there was a birthday party starting at 4:00 PM, so my three boys would have 30 minutes to play freely before it got busy, and that they would be fine. When we arrived, we were immediately told they were closed for a party. I explained that I had just called and been told otherwise. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff became hostile and accused me of lying, saying, "We don't even have a phone. We haven't had one for months." That's impossible because I called the phone number listed on their Google Business page. Rather than apologizing or trying to figure out what happened, they told us to leave and refused to let my kids play. The customer service was completely unacceptable. Lucas, Jason, and the manager (who refused to give me their name) handled the situation very poorly. Even if there had been a misunderstanding, there was no reason to treat a customer that way. We left and went to Space Room instead, and it turned out to be the best decision. The staff there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our kids had an amazing time, and the experience was everything we had hoped for. I will never return to Pups of War, and I cannot recommend it based on how we were treated. Save yourself the wasted trip and go somewhere that values its customers.

He'll even participate and set up a booth at the conventions or expos if he can, like Kawaii Kon, Comic Con, Hawaii's Collector's Expo, and Collector Megalopolis (hosted in the Pearlridge Malls)! Talk about nostalgic! He has pretty much anything and everything you could think of if you're looking for old retro games and consoles! You name it, he's probably got it! We went there looking for a bunch of PS2 games last Saturday around lunchtime. I think we spent almost a whole hour at his tent just finding a whole bunch of games! He's kind and thorough to check to make sure the games are in good playable condition and makes sure the controllers and consoles work too! He even gets Japanese games in every now and then (he sometimes has the consoles too like the Nintendo DSi)! I found me a nice rare Japanese game that I never thought I would get here in Hawaii (since not too many people know of it)! I thought I would have to get it in Japan again. It really depends on what he gets. He'll post on his Instagram whenever he gets new stuff in and they go quickly so follow him @retromax_hawaii to get the latest updates! He's really great at responding to messages too! Super nice guy! He just got a whole container of stuff while we were shopping at his tent at the swap meet and he was kind enough to let us look through them when they just got there! Go check him out! If you can't find what you're looking for at BOOKOFF, ECOTOWN, IDEAS, BOOKS & MUSIC, or even GAMESTOP, you'll probably find what you're looking for here! It's totally worth the visit!
