Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

It was piles and piles and shelves full of comics from marvel to mangas and also a lot of Funko Pop toys. They even have a Rugrats comic... if ya know, ya know (hello 90's kid). Apparently they don't have live inventory on their website but you can come in and ask for help. The staff/owner was really friendly and welcoming. They will be having a Black Friday sale so if you're looking to score a deal, be sure to check it out soon. Now the store could be a bit more organized... but with so many comics, I don't know how else they can improve it. They also have a lot of dust in some of their shelves but the comics are fine.

I visited the sheridan mall location a while back because a comic I wanted was sold out everywhere…read moreI checked, (that was before I knew about the beguiling), and red nails 2 had that one comic I couldn't find anywhere else. I thanked the young guy named Sam for keeping a good stock, but now I realize people probably just don't go to his shop because he's a horrible employee. I kept visiting with my friends because I was at the mall and felt like looking at comics. But with my frequent visits I couldn't afford many comics, so I started buying just one each visit. Sam seemed okay at first, but after a while he started treating me differently. I think he might have thought I was stealing comics or something because he would start shaking whenever I would speak with him. That's pretty prejudicial on his part just because I am a teen. I got fed up and went to the jane and bloor location instead but he happened to be working there that day and he wouldn't take his eyes off me since I walked in the store. Whenever I asked him for something he would just say "if you don't see it we don't have it". When I went to the back issues farther away from the cashier he literally sprinted towards me and stood right behind me, just watching. I am really annoyed by his behavior, and have never gone back since. I am giving red nails one more shot, so I'm visiting sheridan mall on a saturday and really hope to not see that jerk working there. I really don't recommend this shop because they don't value their customers unless they're close friends from 30 years ago like most of the positive comments I've read.

Admittedly, it's okay to kill time in, if you don't mind having to root around like a truffle hunting hog, but it manages to combine strange selection (I found a bunch of Tron action figures) with strangely high prices. You might find a good value, or something. It violates pretty much every rule of retail in terms of organization and presentation, being more like a massive single retailer basement rummage sale. It's a shame, since the downtown store has been improving and the junction store is a good venue. I guess this is the picture in the attic.

I saw that they had a lot of newer Funko Pop releases on their shelves too, some pops from the Funko shop itself.
