I thought it would be a good environment for her to pick out a toy because it's a small store without a lot of people or loud noises (which bother her). She ran ahead of me to the stuffed animals! The lady that was working there (she was foreign) almost jumped over her counter and told my children not to touch anything. I looked at her and told her that my daughter was just excited and that she is Autistic and doesn't understand. To which she replied, "Oh." Then rolled her eyes. As she followed me through the store, she kept asking me if she could help me find something specific. By her tone and demeanor, I knew she wasn't being genuine she just wanted us out of her store. I told her no that we were fine which she then told me to make sure my kids didn't touch anything. I looked at her and said "You do know that this is a toy store, right?" She said "Well, yes but what we tell everyone is not to touch because we're a small store and we opened this up ourselves." By her comment, it was clear that she had run-ins with other customers. I told her politely that maybe the owners should've thought about that when they decided to open a toy store for goodness sake, like children aren't going to want to touch. I will never go back to that store. I grabbed the $50 worth of toys that my kids were planning on purchasing and I put them back on the shelves and I told her that we would never be back and that we would make sure to tell all of our mommy friends about her attitude and our experience. She was so incredibly rude to myself and my children (who were not monkey's by the way, they were pretty well behaved for toddlers). They could've had a long term customer. Because of the needs of my children, I use a great deal of Melissa and Doug toys/Games/Activities to carry out their Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. I will just continue to purchase all of the things I use for them from Amazon.

It is unfortunate that Yelp chooses to recommend the only negative review the store ever received. The non-recommended review is more typical of customer response to the store.

Again, huge selection and I'm frankly surprised and impressed to see such a good toy store in a mall. Prices are high but about what you'd expect. Basically full retail price on everything. Parking sucks. I was there for less than three hours today and paid damn near $7 to use the ramp! I know they have a validation scheme where if you get three validations you get a watery discount, but it's just too much work. Just gimme the first hour free huh? Full validation for paying customers? Anyway... it's a bitter pill to swallow since coming downtown already comes with its own headaches. But I digress.

This store is also organized but very packed. The staff was very nice and helped me find every item on my list. I could have spent hours looking through everything but I was a time limit. The nice staffer navigated me through the store and find all of my items. I will definitely be back to do more toy shopping.

We are in there for a little while exploring everything they had to offer. Prices were not that bad and staff were nice. My daughter is fine smitsky's inside there and I was able to look at a few cool journal that they had for sale. There were prank toys as well. What really caught my attention was all the wall cat clocks they had which they had in various colors. You know the Felix looking cats with the eyes that look left and right. It was kind of crazy to see them all lined up above the cash register. Definitely a unique shop to take a look at and venture into when you're in downtown.
