This is the place to go for all of your wine and liquor needs! In the aisles you will find wines in categories like Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, etc. even in these aisles you will see that the more bottle you buy the prices will lower! On the back left wall of the store you will find all the local wineries like Niagara and the Finger Lakes which may be a bit sweeter. Now you will find aisles of every kind of liquor you can imagine. You will find the local distilleries within here also. So, my advice when you visit take a minute walk around and see all the different options available. I always visit with one thing in mind and tend to actually purchase something totally different!

He wasn't the warm welcome type but he knew his inventory so I'll give him credit for that. When you go in for the first time just ask to sign up for the loyalty program, they'll need your ID and every time after just make sure you provide your last name for them to look up your account. I went to Global Wine & Spirits today on my 21st birthday, excited to finally make a legal…read morepurchase, only to be wrongfully denied because my ID is vertical. The cashier insisted it was "New York State law" that they couldn't accept a vertical ID, which is completely false. NY State law does not require an ID to be horizontal as long as it proves you're 21. When I politely inquired another worker about it, and he was nasty and rude, offering no real explanation and acting like I was causing a problem just for asking a valid question. If this store wants to make up their own rules, at least train your employees to be polite about it. I ended up going to Caputi Liquors, where they properly followed the law and accepted my ID because vertical IDs are valid in New York State. I won't be coming back to Global Wine & Spirits.
