I needed to check each day to see when the hold was released. A financial institution, according to Reg CC, must tell a customer when funds will be available, which is a federal regulation. I was on hold for over 20 minutes for a very simple question that still was not answered.

I requested the charge be waived due to my long-standing relationship and the fact I live on a fixed income. Their response was "Paul, upon reviewing your account ending in ****, We are unable to refund the check order fee for $46 we charged you. We appreciate you being a Chase customer." Chase obviously does DOES NOT value my account. Longevity and loyalty mean nothing to this organization.

Their branch office on Peterson Avenue is very modern, beautifully decorated, with state-of-the art equipment. That also have an adjacent parking lot and drive-thru ATM. A great place to do business that has many good investment options to offer their members that are part-owners of the credit union, unlike traditional banks that are businesses owned by someone else.
