NO ONE SHOWED UP. I waited an hour before calling to follow up. Of course, no one answers so I leave a message. Never received a call back to this day and it has been a week. Update 02/17/26: Unresolved (This review was originally…read moreposted on Google and I'm adding it here for transparency.) 12/12/24: Still unresolved 06/16/24: Summit Exteriors did respond publicly to my original google review, but the main issue is still unresolved. I have not received any direct outreach by phone or email, even though they have all of my contact information. I also sent a written request in an effort to resolve this outside of court, and I did not receive a response. The outstanding issue is a refund for two skylights that were canceled prior to installation. As of today, that refund has not been issued. To be fair, the roofing installation itself appears solid. The crew worked hard and the roof is still intact. That said, there were several issues with communication, scheduling, and follow-through. Original scope of work included: GAF Lifetime Roof System -Replacement of existing skylight with a Velux Fixed Skylight -Installation of two additional skylights (with framing and drywall work) -Complete gutter replacement (Hidden Hanger Seamless Gutter System) -Hardwood decking replacement Work that was completed: -GAF Lifetime Roof System -Replacement of existing skylight with a Velux Fixed Skylight -Complete gutter replacement -Decking was replaced, but not with hardwood The two additional skylights were canceled before installation due to scheduling delays and weather concerns. At the time, my priority was replacing my aging roof (it was over 20 years old, with missing shingles and risk of water damage). I started requesting a refund for those skylights before the job even began in August 2023. The refund is still outstanding. During the project: The start date was delayed due to transportation issues, which pushed work into rainy weather. I experienced ceiling staining inside that required repair. Interior touch-ups were handled by company staff rather than a professional painting contractor. Landscaping was damaged during the job. A complimentary house pressure wash that was promised was never completed. Insurance assistance resulted in partial coverage (around 15%). Communication became noticeably more difficult after financing was finalized several months before installation. It was often hard to get updates or clear answers. While the roof itself seems to be holding up, the unresolved refund and the ongoing communication issues have left me disappointed with the overall experience.

Look no further if you need gutter repair. And I'll go out on a limb and guess that their gutter cleaning is just as high quality -- I'll be switching our gutter cleaning to them in the Spring & Fall, based on how well they helped us with our repairs. So here's the sitch -- we'd just had our gutters cleaned and the service provider mentioned our gutters in the back were sagging which meant water wasn't draining, so they needed repair. Based on great reviews online for Catalino, I called for an estimate -- which was provided in about 2 days (quick considering it's Winter, many people needed their gutters cleaned after an early Fall snow which meant that every gutter company was backed-up with cleaning and calls for repairs, like mine). The price seemed reasonable, so we proceeded. Not only were they able to fill our repair needs FAR sooner than anticipated, the communication was TRULY exceptionally good, and then they were able to fix some very unanticipated repairs when they uncovered that our fascia boards (what the gutters hook onto) were completely rotten. In summary, they kept exactly to the revised quote that included more repairs than anticipated, the pricing was VERY reasonable, their timeline was to the "T" with what they quoted, they did an extraordinary job of cleaning up behind themselves, and were friendly and offered superior communication throughout. We're switching everything for gutter maintenance to them, and any future repairs will come their way without hesitation. A+++++++++ service.

After the last several windstorms, the tree started splitting down the trunk, leaning towards our house, so we called Birchcrest - not only were they able to come in a timely fashion, but the gentlemen that came were wonderful and so kind, were able to safely remove the tree with no damage, and even went so far as to clean up the driveway and our deck!!! We cannot say thank you enough - you all worked so hard and words simply can't express how much we appreciate you and the work you did - you saved our house from extensive damage if that tree were to come down in the next storm. It took 2 weeks to get a response informing me that RGE gives them directions. I'm not sure if those directions say, "don't take debris with you to the road.". I assumed it just went along with it as this has never been an issue with other tree companies. It's just weird.
