We had our tasting at Grant's farm and it was phenomenal. He made a sampling of apps, main courses/sides for us to try based on the direction we were going in (we wanted to do food with a nod/flare to the South). Once we decided we were going with GB, Claire and Grant did a walk through of our house (we had our wedding & reception at our house) and we talked about high level details for the event. From there Claire and I kept in touch and ironed out any last minute details. She and I were on the phone a day or so prior to our wedding because of rain in the forecast - we discussed our "plan B" action plan. I knew that I had nothing to worry about because they would take care of us :) The morning of the team arrived early to help set up tents and rentals, and prep for the day. We pow-wowed when they got there and I gave Claire all my last minute details, map, decorations, etc. and let her and the team run with it. Everything came out even better then I could have asked for- they definitely have a wonderful aesthetic! I remember after our rehearsal I was running around trying to find paper to write "reserved" signs for our parents. Grant saw me nervously opening cabinets to find the paper and said "What do you need? How can I help?" That stuck with me. I told him what was up and how I couldn't find any paper to make the signs. He offered to rip up an extra menu and make the signs for me and put them out. It was so kind and awesome, I felt like they were all going out of their way to make sure everything was handled and I didn't have to do anything on my wedding day. Okay, now for the food: I can't even tell you how many people came up to me and told me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Everyone was extremely impressed with their food, their service, the layout - everything. I can't say enough great things about GB Culinary, I would highly recommend them to anyone for your next event.

Rubber chicken and flavorless. This food was not that at all. The prime rib was something you would expect at a high end restaurant. The chicken Kiev was terrific. The service and character of the owner was amazing. He and his staff were so kind gracious and helpful throughout the wedding. I cannot recommend this company any higher and this review does not even begin to describe the experience. You won't be disappointed.

Along with that, we had bbq beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw and rolls/buns. Nikki also made a beautiful wedding cake, complete with gorgeous icing flowers. We also had appetizers between the ceremony and reception. Joe and Nikki worked and served food during the reception. Everyone ate as much as they wanted and they packed up the leftovers! The amount of food they provided was amazing. We ended up having lots of food leftover to feed wedding guests during the next days and I also froze so much of the meat. Many guests commented on how good the food was....and it was SO good. The meats were tender and flavored perfectly. I just got out some of the chicken and brisket I had frozen to heat up for dinner tonight and it still tastes great. That says something!…read moreMy direct knowledge is that Northern Colorado Catering has HUGE turnover as they exploit their Staff, hire poorly, and have constant conflicting directives from the owners. They play the "checks in the mail" game with employees, and as you can see below, have failed clients in the past by disappearing. The food is decent, but the vans they use to transport the food are filthy, non-refrigerated and the Staff is told to pack the leftover food from events for later use. Do yourself a favor for YOUR event, trust in a REAL service that provides a fair and professional experience for both the client and the employees.

I tried calling Dorothy the morning of the wedding with some questions and to confirm last minute details, yet never heard back from her. When I saw her at the wedding reception, she acted busy and not concerned with my questions. She brushed me off, responded annoyingly to me saying she doesn't have a cell phone and was doing a wedding that morning. I'm sorry, but you cannot be in catering and NOT have a cell phone. It was 2012 at the time. She had a bad attitude and was incredibly snappy with me. I was an extension of the customer and her customer service was lacking. Her food was okay at best. The wedding had around 70 guests and they couldn't keep up, which I've had dinner parties for that many and I've kept up. She and her staff arrived looking incredibly frumpy with oversized sweatshirts over black pants & white tops. She also puts a 5x7 portrait advertising herself and a huge, unattractive frame advertising at the wedding. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for your catering needs.
