It's crazy how this company doesn't know their laws. I went and visited the UK and as a UNITED STATES CITIZEN!! you do not need a stamp to enter to the UK, I came to exchange my currency from pounds to dollars and they denied service to me because the passport did not have a stamp?!! Its THE LAW, this company needs to either shut down or their workers need more training on international travel laws. read more

I came in to cash my check around 12:11pm because it's around the corner from my job. (I hope your boss sees this.) Some fat lady at window h97 accused me of already cashing my check even though I signed it right in front of her and they keep your checks after you do. But she caught only when i put the date because she was talking to her coworker. And insisted that i cashed out already asking if i got a bank account and why i didn't go there. Like they don't take a percentage for doing it the same day. If i didn't get checks I'd get direct deposit and i wouldn't have that problem. Shows the people they hire. I called continental currency services at 6565 Hollywood blvd last week to get some foreign currency for my upcoming travel. After calling around for the rate it seemed that Continental had the best rate. So, I ordered $400,00 worth. I was told it will take couple days to get here and they would give me a call once it was here. I asked the girl 4 times to make sure that what they quoted me was correct amount. I asked them if there was any hidden fees that I should be aware of. They said no. Yesterday, they called me to say the money is here. Again, I asked her. So, I'm giving you $400.00 exchange for this amount of money. She said, yes! .... I drove 45 minutes in the rain. There was no parking available. I paid for parking. Once I got there. The girl said I was the one that I talked to you on the phone. Now, she tells me that in order to get the same amount that I was quoted on the phone I have to pay $10.00 and some change. I told her why she is playing this game with me? I told her, I confirmed with you 5 times before driving in the rain to get here. Now, she wants to give me less than what the bank cross of street from my house wants to give me. She said, I never told you that. I asked her why would be the reason than for me to drive for 45 minutes if your rates was so low? I asked to speak to the owner of the place and I was told she is not there. I asked for her name. Started coming here just for basic things. It's by my house. I walked in and explained what I needed. Cindy misunderstood me. When the transaction was done, or so I thought....I mentioned to her that something wasn't done and asked about a charge and she started flipping out on me. I stood there as she yelled watching her. I was able to purchase Euro's for my trip at a great price and the tellers were fast and friendly.  They have free parking in the back and do mostly everything from check cashing, money orders to foreign currency exchange. Located in a prime location on Hollywood boulevard, this place offers a wide range of Financial Services including foreign exchange and Western Union. However my advice is to go somewhere else to exchange foreign currency. I am from Australia and needed to exchange $1000 AUD after enquiring on the buying price of Australian I was told 0.71. OK that works out to $710 US that's a little less than the going exchange rate of 0.74 but not too bad. The teller then told me $636.80 a number so low I was flabbergasted I said 0.71 equals $710 she said yeah but there is a commission. I replied never mind I'll go else where she then performed a calculation on the calculator and said $647 I said nope not happening rather than give me my Australian back she then asked someone else and performed a calculation on the calculator again offering me $11 something better. Twice more she checked with this person and improved the offer by around $11 each time I kept knocking it back until he checked with someone else and they offered $686 which I finally excepted. (Needed the cash) Still cost me $28 to get my money changed, absolutely ridiculous. My parting words were you won't be getting anymore of my AUD from me I will go else where. Supposedly new owners own this place. Service went from 200% to 10%. They have to get approval for everything, even for the most simplest things. Things that I have been doing for years I cannot do anymore there. They are so ridiculous in their demands and for such a loyal customer. I've literally spent thousands there in fees and services and to now treat me and others like this.
