Went here to get Euros before my trip. They don't charge a designated fee for an exchange, but the exchange rate is slightly higher than the current market. That is their fee. However, after having made the exchange, I found it to match currency exchanges in Spain, France, and Italy. Their rate was A LOT better than the currency exchange at LAX. I only exchanged to receive €500 and it lasted me almost my entire 21 day trip. I used my credit card with no foreign transaction fee everywhere I could. When I had to withdraw, I used my Capital One 360 Debit at a Euronet ATM. When I checked the conversion rate in the Capital One App, It was very close to current market rate even with the Euronet ATM fee. Had I known this, I would have just gotten €200 and withdrew whenever I needed. This is dependent on your bank, so be sure to call and ask about their charges when withdrawing from an ATM in foreign countries. read more

this is honestly one of the best currency exchange places in LA! don't change your leftover money from when you get back from overseas (the airports will charge a super high fee!) just go here. Ending up coming here after checking rates with BoA, Chase, and WF. They had the best rate I could find in the LA area. Compared to banks, their conversation rate was ~3% more. I stopped by in the afternoon and was in and out in about 10 minutes. Parking in the area is a bit challenging since it's on the main street, but I was able to get parking about 3 minute walk away. Very easy process to change my USD to MXN! The rate I got back was about 5% under the current market value, which seems to be their hidden fee for exchanging money. That's a lot cheaper than a whole lot of places, including large banks.
