Experiencing worse customer service EVER! Came here to cash the check and the lady at a front name is Sara gave me big altitude refusing to cash my check asking me why i didn't cash it upon arrival (passed less than a month) and on the check it says valid within 90 days. I told her I was out of country and she asked me for a proof. Really? That's how it works? And then telling me why the check was signed which I replied I literally signed it while i was standing on the line, she goes like I didn't see, therefore I can't accept this check. Didn't know you can't sign the check. Asked me the papers that came with check, is that a policy? Basically doing everything that I don't cash the check. Well such a waste of time not only I waited 20 mins in line but when I was called up next, they checked my check and verified it and said don't I go to US bank, I said it's obviously closed that's why I'm here, and they said well we need to call the number of the owner of this check and I have it to them and said go ahead, the girl then left and came back 5 mins later and started to call and then after she said have you been her before I said yes, and then she left AGAIN and brought her side kick (manager) and they both looked at the screen and said "I can't cash the check because US bank is not open" I'm like since when was that a problem? Got a check from one of my clients in noho for $500. I stopped by before picking up a friend 20 mins up north since it's on the way. I gave Jessica my check and asked if I been there before and I said yes, she asked for their # and I gave it to her. She said to hold on and walked away with my check for 10 mins. She finally came back and said oh hold on I need to verify and called them. I told her weren't you doing that all this time? and that I was in a hurry. She uses the phone next to me on the next window to make the call. She comes back to my window and says that it's a wrong number. I told her no it's not and I gave her their business card with the same number and the one I gave her. She calls again and I hear her asking them questions and was talking too long just for a verified call. It seem like she was still on the phone after they hung up. So another 10 minutes passed and she talks to Jiovanni that she called and I want to cash this check. He comes to the window and says some dumb excuse about they can't cash it because it's too much or too low. So I told him why not tell me that 20 minutes ago when you saw the price of the check for $500? He says I'm sorry you should go to citibank. Waste of time I will never go back here again.
