I have had nothing but a terrible terrible experience with this business, bought a range. It did not work at all. many servicemen out, it was working properly when in fact, it will not come to temperature that it should and won't hold its temperature and the service man only tried to tell me how to bake. I've been baking for 50 years. I know how to bake. Continental will not give me my money back won't do anything for me Electrolux /Frigidaire ,just have me jumping through hoops and passing the buck they're terrible. Nobody go there. I will not set my foot in there ever again. They are not interested in customer satisfaction warranty, obviously matters for nothing. We bought a Bosch stove from Continental in late November 2025, the salesman, told us Bosch was top end for quality. We paid for the pickup/hall away service, the stove showed up with none of the usual packaging and a dent in the corner. We called Continental right away, they said they would have to send out a repair shop to see if it could be fixed. We told them we had no interest in a repair; we bought a new stove not a repaired stove. Continental told us that this happens all the time, there is a process they must follow with Bosch, or we would have to pay for the stove to be returned to the store.......and oh by the way we won't have a replacement for you for 6 weeks or so! On day four of owning the stove the touch screen was dead, couldn't turn the stove on. I turned the breaker off in the basement, tried again, and it worked. My wife started baking Christmas cookies, after a couple of trays she tried to turn the oven off, panel was dead again, had to shut off the breaker to turn the stove off. I report the dead panel to the manager at Continental; he sent me to the service department because we 'have to follow the process'. Service reported the dead panel to Bosch; Bosch sends out a different repair company and of course the panel is working when they arrive. I had taken a video of the panel when it was dead and when it wouldn't shut off. I shared the video with the repair guys and service at Continental; both agreed the unit was 'DOA' and should be replaced by Bosch. We waited 3 days, no response from anyone! I had to contact Continental for an update which they didn't have. I advised them than we were done with Bosch and asked what they had in stock for a replacement, they had nothing in stock and the closest replacement of any brand was Bosch. Hard to believe for a business that advertises they are different from the 'big box' stores because Continental has inventory........simply not true! We were very disappointed at this point with both Bosch and Continental so told them I would be returning the stove for a refund and buying from someone else. The manager gave me a half-hearted apology and said I hope you will give us a chance again in the future. NOT HAPPENING, this is unfortunate as we prefer to support local if possible, but we won't back at Continental again. I hope this review prevents others from suffering through the illusion of Continental having inventory and the false belief that we would be better served by buying locally! read more

I am disgusted with this company and their so called extended warranty. Paid thousand plus dollars for this supposedly wonderful warranty. I can't get any warranty nor any support from the store in Regina. they told me I have to deal with the warranty company from down east on my own. no one returns calls and when they do they just say it's going to get fixed, no one comes or calls and for over seven months I have been waiting for repairs on my fridge. The warranty I bought (money paid to Continenta) was that they would buy back the appliance if it couldn't be repaired! no such deal! I was never told that the warranty would be through someone else. The staff at Continental won't return my calls. I feel that they have taken advantage of me because I'm a widow and I was buying all my appliances on my own. read more

Will not shop at Continental again. Late in 2017 we ordered a corner sectional couch for our newly finished basement family room. When it came in, we arranged for delivery. Unfortunately the movers could not get it down the stairs. Because we knew that there would be a restocking fee if we didn't purchase something else at Continental, we picked two Love seats and a recliner as we knew they would fit down the stairs. When we went to pay for them, "oh, you have to pay a restocking fee"....... Something in the fine print..........Strike one. Today, we had a Continental flier come in the mail. In this flyer, each love seat we had purchased was nearly $100 cheaper. A quick look at their policies told us that under 30 days since the purchase, if we found a lower advertised price, we could get the difference.. Off we went to the store. At first the sales person agreed to it, but only for store credit. Strike two. Then the manager came out and said we didn't qualify for price matching,,,, more fine print. Strike three! So we left, telling them that we wouldn't be back. We read through their price matching "fine print". Turns out that pretty much everything is excluded "clearance items, Boxing Day specials and time limited sales". (how many sales aren't time limited?) If they really appreciated our business and wanted us back, they might have considered offering us a partial reduction or something, other than saying "there it is in the fine print". We definitely have had better customer service at other furniture stores. We will be spreading the word to all our friends and family. So, if you decide to shop at Continental, use the old shopping rule "buyer beware"! read more

I have never been treated worse by a company ever! Furniture was delivered damaged and the delivery person was ignorant, even swore in my home. The manager hung up on me! I asked him what he was going to do about this and he said that the outside repair company would call me in about a week, or when they had time. They will repair our furniture. I told him I dont think we should have to pay for the delivery and he said the delivery company would call me. Continental hired the company not us! We paid $70 to have broken furniture delivered to our home by an ignorant person swearing. Terrible service! read more
