One of the most unprofessional and unsafe experiences I have ever had with any service company. We stopped at a gas station for a quick 5‑minute errand. A Continental Towing truck pulled in to tow a different vehicle. When we returned, the driver had parked directly in front of our car and completely blocked us in. Our vehicle was legally parked and not being towed. My husband politely asked the driver to move before he even started loading the other car. It would have taken seconds. Instead, he refused and continued setting up, forcing us to wait approximately 30 minutes for absolutely no legitimate reason. When asked again, the driver escalated the situation. He began cursing, acting hostile, and stepping toward my husband in an aggressive and intimidating manner. This was not just rude, it felt threatening. There is no justification for this behavior. Under California Vehicle Code § 22658, tow operators are required to immediately release vehicles that are not lawfully being towed specifically to prevent confrontations and safety risks like this. Our car should never have been blocked in the first place. What should have been a simple stop turned into being trapped in a parking lot and verbally confronted by an aggressive tow truck driver. To make it worse, this happened on my birthday. Continental Towing showed zero professionalism, zero courtesy, and zero regard for customer safety. Had a horrible experience with this tow company, first of all they damaged my vehicle upon transportation. I was trying to deal with this matter civilly but they keep dodging my messages and calls. They are very unprofessional I would not recommend this company to anybody. There is a reason they have 3.7 stars if I could give them 0 stars I would. On November 16, 2025, AAA dispatched Continental Towing of Fontana, California to tow my 2014 Acura MDX. While unloading my vehicle at Acura of Montclair, the tow truck driver struck the roof of my vehicle on the dealership structure, causing damage to the roof and antenna. The owner of Continental Towing, Salvador "Sal" Sanchez, acknowledged that his driver caused the damage and stated he would arrange repairs. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this, he has refused to arrange repairs or provide payment. A professional repair estimate shows the damage totals $5,830.93. I have service through AAA. I was told that this towing company would be out to tow my car. I was asked on the website if I had any comments, I asked specifically for a flat bed truck to take my vehicle to Ontario Mercedes benz. The driver came in a regular tow truck when I specifically have for a flat bed. The driver called the dispatcher and the dispatcher said I called cursing her out that is not true number one you're a liar number two. I specifically asked for a flatbed. This company preys on small trucking businesses. Tried to charge us $1500 to drop a truck that they had hooked to while my driver was with the truck! Please be aware of this shady tow truck company. I was making a delivery to the Chilis off summit in Fontana and made the delivery. Drove to the Starbucks in the same shopping center and parked my box truck in a parking spot and went inside to order a drink and use the restroom and within 10 minutes, there was a tow truck hooking up to my bobtail to tow it. I confronted the tow truck driver and he said supposedly someone called him which was bs because I wasn't there in the Starbucks more then 10 minutes. Predatory practices and shady company. We needed a tow for our sprinter van class C motor home. We were told of a place near by that could fix it, but we needed it towed. Ceaser in #8 from Continental towing came and towed it to the place near by that told us they could fix it. After towing it there we found the place does not work on motor homes. Ceaser took us to another place nearby, but again they did not work on motor homes. We were stumped, didn't know what to do. Ceaser found us a great place that was able to do the job. This was the third towing service dispatched to tow my 2018 Discovery. The driver was impeccably dressed, his truck was spotless, and he took great pride in working for this company as well as his own work - such a great change from most tow drivers I've encountered! After two other tow companies were dispatched, Continental Towing was the one who came prepared to tow my vehicle to the dealer. Unusual situation where battery was dead, E-brake was engaged, and manual override of transmission lever broken, no one else could get the car on a truck!
