My battery died and when I called AAA they sent me a technician from this business. They called em and gave me a estimate time of arrival and was late by 10 minutes which is fine. Then the guy came and I stated the issue and how the car behaved and yes indeed after test from technician...bad battery. The battery is from AAA and he told me the person who purchased it must go through the warranty exchange. I ask if he could find out who purchased it and he said he wouldn't know.. i then asked if i could have time for a phone call to call AAA and gain the information for the family member to arrive. During the automated information gathering process when calling AAA he said he's leaving and I could call for him to return. Once I get into a service representative and they said they would not have that on file he also stated "any member associated with their AAA membership under the same account would be able to undergo the warranty exchange process for car batteries" All this person did was arrive late, took 2 minutes to do two test, jump started car and left. I can't even turn off my vehicle because it won't turn over again. I do not recommend coming here and if you have the option to select a towing service. Go elsewhere. Now I have to wait for another technician who knows policies and will arrive on time. Update: same day I was sent another technician from the same company. I was able to move my car from the sun to a underpass to stay out of the sun as when the first technician arrived it was 70 degrees fahrenheit and now over an hour later it is 94 degrees. This technicians name was Anthony and when he arrived I explained my cars current condition and the behavior of how it is not turning over and what the last technician did and previous condition of the battery. I also informed him of what AAA had told me previously about anyone on membership account plan can do the battery warranty exchange. He does the test and because I was trying to beat the heat the test he took said the battery was Good. I turn off my car and start it up twice. First turn over took longer than usual and the second turn over was like barely enough to turn on. and next test showed up as a bad battery... He makes some phone calls and after some talking with a coworker and boss he gets the green light to replace the dying battery. Anthony takes out the old battery and pops in the new battery. I sign the paperwork for its replacement and i am finally able to go about my day. from the first phone call for help to me finally departing with a warranty exchange battery took 2 hours and 40 minutes. Anthony's to arrive after my phone call to installing the battery took an hour and 28 minutes but he was very professional and made sure I was fully taken care of so I would not have to worry about my vehicle shutting off en route home. I got one bad experience and AAA sent me another technician from the same company. if it wasnt for Anthony being professional and going the extra mile I would not have been forgiving from the previous customer experience. I do recommend this location. if you can or you are lucky I recommend Anthony as your technician. read more

Although they were dispatched by the police and indicated they are contracted with AAA, they declined to process the tow through our AAA account and instead requested payment upfront. We were advised that if payment was not made, the vehicle would be taken to an impound lot. This added unnecessary stress during an already difficult situation. last spring --The big belly guy as lookout and the tiny thin one, were both surprised by gate opening, thin was on ground removing my rear tire and the back had been jacked up to take off the other rear tire as well. laying on top of vehicle were two rear tires hub caps, original to my vehicle. appeared an auction could be happening next day on other side of unpaved holding area. twenty hoods were up, gas cans/ siphon hoses visible. this was end of third day at Armada towing in Fontana, unlucky choice made by a city, armada had vehicle (25 plus miles away) over a weekend.seeing me moving toward them big belly removed jack fast and tiny thin slithered away, hiding low among dozen very closely parked together arrivals. my vehicle started on first try, am sure office knew what they had been doing, almost closing time. saw multiple cameras at gate, and on that side, crossed mind they were related to people/ trusted, used to doing as pleased there. these adults over 30 y.o. were described and reported to company. friends of those answering phone is very likely. my vehicle had a full tank of gas (cost was 1.75 more than today) yet had to stop for some because it was on red after passed the speedway. telling AAA what occurred didn't budge their rating or get them on suspension for valuable business referrals. important to this true tale of crap happens, gets compounded by unreal helpers/ few bad apples-- was my set(day prior) appointment for AAA tow truck to move vehicle safely from this place was not kept (GB service) and we 3 waited four plus hours, finally my ride left before the rain started. really was so lucky that could start it, and find my way from this unfamiliar area, in bad weather, failing light, etc. took me parts of two months to get AAA roadside to put the "used" service call back on record as unused. at the time for about three months when topic was discussed/ rated/ not investigated , dozens heard not positive things( about all 3 busn) mostly AAA looks less shiny, those 2 tow service/ tow yards just appear as stereotype most believe they typically are. Always have backup plans/ alternatives prior to real need, otherwise it won't end well when depend on AAA "helpers". On 5/5/23, I was involved in a car accident in Fontana that left me injured and my car damaged. The police arranged for Armada towing to take my truck to their yard while I was transported to the hospital by ambulance. I was not given a choice of where to tow my vehicle, and I later found out that Armada has a very bad reputation online. They have many negative reviews from customers who complained about their poor service, and rude staff. I was shocked that they are partnered with AAA, and to see how AAA are even being treated! Look at the reviews yourself. When I recovered from my injuries and called Armada to get my vehicle out, I was greeted by a female staff member who sounded very annoyed and impatient. She did not show any sympathy or compassion for my situation, and she did not explain the process or the fees clearly. She just demanded that my insurance removes the car or the body shop that I'm going with. I think the owner of this business should be aware of how their staff treats their customers and how they damage their reputation. They should either train their staff better or hire new ones who know how to provide good customer service. They should not take advantage of people who are in a vulnerable situation and need help. I do not recommend this towing service at all, and I hope no one else has to go through what I went through with them. read more

I had been calling for two days asking where it was and they gave me the Fontana address, when my mom gets there they tell her it's not there and that it's in their San Bernardino location (search it up and it says permanently closed). I had been calling the past two days and the lady that answers the phone gave me the Fontana address on Carob St. when I go to get the truck she tells me it was in San Bernardino this whole time and that she never told me it was in fontana when she clearly gave me the address (and she says the San Bernardino location is closed like what???). Worst customer service ever and she has the audacity to yell at me on the phone. On another note the phone number that is on the fontana location is actually for the San Bernardino location and vice versa. All they try to do is take your money!!! Coming up on Mulberry when this Armada tow truck that was at the stop sign, decided pull right out in front of me, to head east. I had to slam on the brakes, to avoid hitting him. he sped off driving really fast and dangerous. He swerved to the right going around cars that were stopped with a car waiting to make a left turn. Imagine if I wasn't paying attention! He was going fast and I was a few cars behind him. he pulled onto the right shoulder that turned into the turning lane. They had my car for two days and that was more than enough time for them to remove my cars catalytic converter and a few personal belongings. I was shocked to hear that my catalytic converter was missing after my insurance did a vehicle appraisal because I had just gotten work done on it 2-3 months prior. However I was not surprised being that when I went to recover my personal belongings some things were missing. Armada texted within minutes and called our cell phone with approx times of 1/2 hour to arrive. Their arrival time was less than ten minutes! Wow that was awesome on a rainy Saturday morning. This car didn't leak any fluids, just had a water pump put on the day before, drove the car from Glendale, to Cherry Valley. I get pulled over by 3 Redlands cops take me to jail only to be released 30min later. Paid $300 register it in my name, $299 Redlands PD release paperwork. $1000 Armada towing and now I have a blown transmission, car is out of Alignment, front Bumper damaged. Got out of kid's haircut appointment just about to leave and found that the battery is dead. Called AAA and Armada is the assigned roadside assistant. I've been getting Armada for all my AAA calls and they've be great. What happened next is not just great but above and beyond. John Johnson is the AAA help came to help us out. he not only offered the standard solution but when I told him that this same battered went out just a few months ago he offered to replace it. He checked his mobile inventory and found none on hand that will fit my car... he told me since the jump works and car is running, why not take my family home first and he will go back to shop and pick up a battery to meet me at my home to replace it. I told him if it's working and you don't have it on hand, (i am his last call for the day pm; he started 5 am he told me) that's more than 12 hours he's worked and I op to not change it that same day. I will just get it taken care off next day or call it in again. He was having none of that and said he wants to take care of it. He called around to see if other road side assistance drivers have the size in stock. Moe the other driver was near by and he said he will bring it over... I would absolutely give them 5 stars if he was the only person we had dealt with at this company but unfortunately, the woman I dealt with at the office was extremely rude and not helpful at all so I can only give 3 stars. The tow truck driver took extra care to get our boat trailer with only one wheel up on the flatbed as carefully as possible to minimize the damage. He really went above and beyond. The situation of my tow required someone meet the driver at the destination to pay for the extra miles, but the driver, Raphael, who picked up my car left me with no eta and no contact information. He then became short with me when he called saying he was already at the destination and needed someone to be there immediately. He kept speaking over me and repeating himself, unwilling to allow me to find a solution to our problem. I then received a call from their office and the person spoke to me rudely from the very beginning, cut me off mid-sentence multiple times, spoke over me constantly, and then threatened to have the driver turn around and impound my car. And to top it all off the driver didn't even show up to drop my car off at the correct location, which was GIVEN TO HIM BY AAA. After dealing with AAA for a warranty on a battery, they set up a battery test/replacement with this company. The technician came out, tested it, and said it was bad, which I already knew because I took it to my own shop and tested it, but I allowed the process to happen. However, because the AAA policy card holder wasn't present (my mother) they couldn't exchange the battery. I rescheduled for the following day. A second technician came out with the intention of only jumpstarting the vehicle and had no replacement battery. So he called his dispatch and they said they would send somebody else with the new battery...in one hour. So my mother waited. When he arrived, the technician asked for warranty papers when it states on the battery that it has a 3 yr warranty and the date of purchase was one year ago. He tested it again, and guess what, the battery was good all of a sudden when the technician from the previous night from the SAME company stated it was bad and needed to be replaced. I have contacted AAA, lodged a complaint against them with the hopes of something being done. Their use of this company is a bad representation on AAA as a whole. I had them schedule another battery test/change with another company because this company cannot be trusted. If you are a AAA member, make sure that they don't use this company to assist you in your moment of need. You will be disappointed. Also, don't ever buy a battery from AAA. Such a hassle to get them to warranty their product. Buy one from any another place that isn't associated with AAA. Heed my warning. read more

I called AAA and was immediately connected to a dispatch operator. David with ATX VIP Towing Service arrived within 30 minutes! The splash pad was damaged and dragging so I needed a tow to a repair shop. David was able to do a "quick fix" on my SUV so that I could drive myself. I was completely satisfied with his services and he could not have been more helpful or kinder. He goes back to his truck and then comes to me to tell me he can test my battery but can't jump it because he forgot his cables. Told me he can jump it of I had cables. If I had cables I wouldn't have called you guys. Tells me he has to go pick it up and leaves. Luckily another person at the cafe I was waiting had cables.
