Eric came and was very informative and knowledgeable about what the house size would need and did not try and up-sell any expensive thermostats or any one particular type of furnace or A/C, but instead took the time to fully explain modern operation and controls and which one would qualify for Alliant rebates. Of the 5 bids Eric's bid was very competitive on price and he was able to schedule me in right away. My first impression of Eric is of a very trustable, dependable person. The bid was to replace furnace, A/C and water heater (Power vented gas) and install gas lines to stove and dryer. Installation to start 11/12 August 2020. A large storm moved through Cedar Rapids and knocked out power to the town for 8 days. Rescheduled for 27 Aug. Eric showed up at 0730 Thursday and Friday and with a helper, did the install. Looks good and works great. He took away all the old stuff and left the place very clean. Eric and his assistant were very nice to work with and I would recommend them to anyone as a competitive, competent HVAC / water heater source. Melinda is the contact person for the office and she is very quick to respond to phone calls or emails. The quote she sent was very clear and understandable. Some of the other contractor quotes I received were very limited on information so it was hard to determine from them what the charges were for. With Furnace Pro, I knew what I was paying for and Melinda was very pleasant to talk to about scheduling installation and any rebate / bill questions.

Was told that they must have lost it again and that they would call us back in a half hour to reschedule. We ended up going with All American bc the receptionist was so on top of things, worked so quickly to get her spouse out her to prevent further leaks (we had a tarp tied up on the chimney and caulk sealing the flashing), and the other bids came in much higher and All American gave us,a few options and even told us,a way we could easily save money for a few years, which we,would never have known about-,being a woman dealing with this I felt like I easily could have been taken advantage of and it was completely the opposite. They were never late, extremity respectful, cleaned up all the mess and even offered to help me clean up the rope, tarp and,all of my mess we had rigged up there to keep water out. They were also the only company out of 5 that I called that offered a warranty AT ALL!!!!! They made sure I completely understood all of the work they were doing before and after they did it and we have happily had not one leak since!
