With this company they kept finding things to charge me for which I did not like. I also used them to have mold removed from around the hvac system. They showed me before pictures of the mold but did not show me pictures once the mold was removed. I had to ask. Due to the fact they sprayed some type of foam to help prevent mold covering the areas where the mold was, it was hard to see if the mold had actually been removed. My house still has a musty smell when you use the AC. I'm really not sure what was done.

Update: now they are saying that my furniture was damaged before they moved it and they are not responsible for anything. So now I am left with doing the repairs to my previous house and fixing / purchasing new furniture to replace the damaged! This has been the worst experience and I strongly advise everyone to go. What a terrible experience…read more I should have had a sense about the day we would have, when the movers had trouble backing up the truck and the beginning of the day. While one of the movers saw our place and suggested it should take 4-5 hours (which is what it took to move everything in the first time.) We ended up spending time with our movers for 8 hours. They were incredibly slow moving everything out of our apartment, with one of the movers explaining that this was a new crew and they did not know how to load things into the truck properly. We asked them if we should wrap furniture with additional shrink wrap, but they said they would use towels. They did not do this for any of our furniture, which we only noticed on the other side. When they arrived at our home 1 mile away, they again had trouble moving the truck. They carelessly brought items into our house. Leaving scratches on most walls and a number of the ceiling. They also dented two steps and chipped many wall corners. We made a list of 6 scratched pieces of furniture. Worst of all, they broke our dining room table leaf making it impossible to use the table. At the end of the job they tried to charge us $1800 for 9 hours of work. While this was already an overcharge (it had not been 9 hours) we were very upset about all of the damage to our property and our walls and floors. We also felt that we should not be charged for their inability to load and drive the truck. Boris basically gaslit us, telling us that these things happen and that it was not as bad. He insisted we pay for all of the extra time. He also did not deduct the deposit from the initial invoice! We told him we would not have it and told him we would like him to come file a claim with insurance for all of the damage. He said he would discount our job $400 if we stopped contacting him. I guess some kind of bribe? We felt stuck wanting this terrible day to be over, but also needing someone to address the damage. We paid and tipped our movers, but now will need to pay significant more to buy a new table and calk and paint most of the walls in our house. Boris was unkind, unprofessional, and still has not agreed to come file an insurance claim for our damaged property. If he is insured, I do not see why this would be a problem. We sent him pictures and he still has not responded. In short Braun damaged our house, and our property, and overcharged us for at best their lack of experience, and at worst simply because they are dishonest. Boris should really be ashamed, and I hope he will come out before we need to file a lawsuit for some of these damages. Shame on this company. I sincerely hope they will change. In the meantime, take your business elsewhere.

He found a few missing shingles that had blown away during a wind storm. The company guided me through the insurance claim process, and in the end, I only paid for a quality upgrade in the shingles. The workers were extremely efficient, getting the job done in a single day; including cleaning all the debris that fell to the ground. I'm very happy with the minimal cost to me, and the quality of the job performed. I'd recommend MD Building Corp to my closest friends.

This is a bit painful to write as I don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for small local…read morebusinesses. However, I feel that I need to share my experience. We needed to remove an old, large cast iron radiator from our attic. This thing must have weighed 500 pounds. We needed it removed so we could have the attic reinsulated, and the insulation needed to be done before our HVAC work commenced the following week. So it was a time sensitive project--the first of several dominos if you will. I called John. Described the project. Mentioned in a follow up text that I wanted to reduce dust as much as possible. He said there would be a good amount of dust given he needed to saw the radiator into pieces to remove it. Fair enough. I called him to schedule and we landed on the day prior to my insulation in the afternoon (2-4pm). At 4:15pm when no one showed up we called. There was some issue with the crew (got stuck at another job?) and couldn't make it. The crew said they called me. I certainly didn't receive any calls as I was watching my phone like a hawk given my stress over the job. We explained to John the time sensitive nature of the job and he agreed to have his crew come at 7am the following day--the same day the insulation was to go in. There was little/no margin for error. At 7:10am I receive a text from one of his guys that says essentially that because we wanted to avoid dust and dust would be unavoidable "they couldn't guarantee I would be 100% satisfied" so they cancelled the job. I want to repeat that: Because they couldn't be assured that I would be 100% satisfied, they cancelled 50 minutes before the insulation crew was showing up after flaking the day prior. I explained I didn't care about the dust--I mean whatever, right? I needed the behemoth gone. We ended up finding a crew to come out and they slayed the beast, and I tipped the hell out of them and yes, there was dust. We managed. This was after I sped to Home Depot to buy every carbide sawzall blade they had in stock. All in all it cost us a few hundred dollars and a heck of a lot of stress. None of this would have happened, including this poor review, if 1) John never agreed to take the job, 2) we had a conversation about the dust concern beforehand, 3) they cancelled with ANY freaking notice. You might even think John would reach out after the fact and say "my bad." You'd be wrong. Instead left us high and dry so we wouldn't be anything less than 100% satisfied. Well, guys, I'm less than 100% satisfied.

We had an attic's worth of junk and a lot of other stuff to prep for a move. I can't believe they got it all in the truck. (Our neighbors all watched and were amazed). Two guys came to load and John arrived on site personally to make sure it was all ok. Couldn't be happier. Great business.
