I went to see him for guidance for my hand issues to try to avoid surgery as long as possible as I work from home so I am on a computer all day so I need my hands. He took a look at my hand and asked me if I can lay my hand flat on the table. I said yes, but my concern was I don't want to wait until I need surgery and that I would like to know if there is anything I can do like therapy to help. All he said was "There is nothing you can do. Come back and see me when you can't lay your hand flat on a table and we will do surgery." In other words, I was wasting his time with the little stuff and the big money is in the surgeries. He was definitely not concerned about the fact that I need my hands for my job. Needless to say, I left a vm for my PCP for other options and letting her know about my experience.

Dr. Stroud will work with you to do everything he can; he cares about his patients. It took until December to have sinus surgery but that was the fault of insurance; his staff knew exactly what codes to use/routes to take to achieve the best possible outcome and still went above and beyond during surgery. I cannot recommend Dr. Stroud and his staff enough!

From the onset, he has a CLEAR pre-op and post-op plan which includes adequately and appropriately addressing PAIN without treating his patient like a drug-seeking addict from the jump. He has been a Godsend for us and for countless others. He is approachable and does NOT suffer from Delusions of Grandeur which one particular surgeon from Ortho Arkansas is plagued with... a condition for which he makes no apologies, I might add. My husband has had a very complicated back surgery, is healing well, no complications, and his post-op pain is appropriately, adequately, and mercifully treated.
