To give you an idea, my husband and I ate there this evening and here's what we had (all excellent). Appetizers: tuna tartare with capers, wasabi, sesame seeds, lettuce, and crisps. It was well balanced and delicious. The other appetizer was Cambodian Spring Rolls, which were perfectly browned, and eaten by placing them in a romaine lettuce leaf with crumbled peanuts and dipping it in an amazing but light sauce. The textures and flavors played off of each other wonderfully, elevating it far above any regular spring roll you may be thinking of. For entrees, my husband had the special, Paella (saffron rice, mussels, shrimp, clams, and a whole crab, red bell pepper). Every item was perfectly cooked, neither undercooked nor overcooked and it tasted fantastic. My entree was perfectly cooked pan-seared salmon filet, with perfectly grilled large asparagus and the most amazing take on grits I have ever had (not your mama's breakfast grits). They were delicately flavored with butter, a hint of cheese and I don't know what else but it understated while still having flavors that seemed too complex for grits to have, without being overdone. She seemed stressed so when it was my turn to order I kept that in mind and tried to be polite. That didn't last long. She became short with me when I chose different donuts for the dozen I had already paid for. I told her to "chill out" and lose the attitude. She glared glared at me and offered no apology. I told her I should just get a refund and she stated "I can give you a refund". I then asked her who her manager was and she answered she was one of them. She continued to make a drink and ignored me until I told her to give me my refund. She responded with, "we're very busy". In return I told her I wasn't going to stand there in the store until they weren't busy. She asked a fellow employee, " can you stop what your doing and give this guy a refund"?. While the employee was working the register I asked who the owner was and he stated, "Peter". I asked how to get in touch with him and he said he didn't know. I identified the owner as Peter Patel and left a message with a brief description of my experience. We'll see if he calls me back... If you can't handle the stress of working in a donut shop, find something else to do. Perhaps away from human contact. Stress is part of life but again, this isnt the level of stress that is experienced in other professions, ie, EMS, Medical personnel, Law Enforcement or even the owner of a franchise...

The chicken tenders were very small (which seems to be an ongoing trend at Zaxby's), but still tasted good. One thing I did notice and it stood out as a safety concern was that there were several areas of standing water around the lobby. They had the white caution signs out, but it still seemed like a pretty big slipping hazard, especially for anyone moving quickly or not paying close attention.
