But man do I tell you Robert can get so much done even in a day ! We were thoroughly impressed with his work. If we didn't like something or if we noticed something and pointed it out to him, he would fix it. Another thing that we really loved about them is their communication. We always knew when Robert was coming or going. There were no surprises of what time he was gonna show up, which with another company, we had nothing but issues and had no idea when they would show up and do work that was not the case with these guys!! We initially contacted them for one big job in our basement, and we were so impressed with their work that we had them come back for 4 different jobs. I really only had one single complaint if you can even call it that. But sometimes Robert would use things without asking. There was a staffing change during our project, and unfortunately we were given incorrect contact information during the transition. Because of that, the company wasn't aware we were still trying to resolve a remaining issue. Once they saw there was an issue they reconnected, they responded and worked with us to address the concerns, including making sure everything met city permit requirements. I really appreciate that they ultimately stood behind their work and followed through. While the process took longer than we expected, I'm glad we were able to get everything resolved. Overall, I appreciate their willingness to come back and make things right.

We had an excellent experience with Utah Basements this past year. They completed our unfinished…read morebasement with 2 bedrooms, large living area, exercise room, utility room, linen closet, under the stairs closet, and full bath. They were able to schedule us immediately once we received all the bids, and the project took roughly 9 weeks from start to final walkthrough. Utah Basements was the second highest bid received, partly because they did not do the flooring (which we got through RC Willey). Communicating with Todd was very convenient, and he responded quickly to text, email, and messages through the UBKB online client portal, where we formally documented design changes. Victor was on site most days and was extremely professional and very friendly. He answered all of our questions, gave helpful suggestions, and always contacted us when there was an issue or he needed direction. Once materials were in, the crew made fantastic progress framing, plumbing, and electrical. The rest of the process went very smoothly, with the minor exception that a bunch of paint touch ups were needed, but those were taken care of immediately. Overall we had a top-notch experience with Todd, Victor and UBKB, couldn't be happier with the final product, and would definitely recommend them if you need a basement finished!
