The food here is usually hot, but I never notice because I'm usually not the kind of person to grab their food. I come here to grab the occasional snacks and late-night purchases I would otherwise need but grab in the morning. It's a spot thats open 24/7 which has saved me countless times before. The employees are your typical employees, no one really "cares" about the job. The location on Forest Avenue is run by a family and you can tell the difference in quality. Overall, I notice that the coffee is changed quite often and that they are usually stocked with the essentials. More often than night I find myself here just grabbing items I missed from the grocery store, and overall I have to say that even though it's not the nicest location on the Island, it's by far one of the better ones I've experienced.

I questioned him, & he said, "yeah - because you refilled your cup with water." & i immediately started to lose my composure with him, as if I was being robbed. He said there was nothing he could do about it, & I asked for the manager. He said the manager isn't going to help me, & I said will I will see what's the owner/day time manager says about this(I am a daily customer*) to which he turned pale, & started to sink back away from the register. Everyone beware of the skinny long haired male at night at the register. There is a chance he is overcharging & pocketing the profits.​​​​​​​

My next incident was trying to make a photo, she refused to help & told me to go somewhere else. In the over 10yrs that I am patronizing this CVS I have never had a problem with the previous workers they were always extremely helpful, you are definitely loosing business due to her rude & dismissive attitude, numerous people have told me they won't shop there any longer if she is working there. When I took my receipt, I figured out I paid for items, but did not get the free ones. Worse than that, the Customer Service failed to let me know the items were free after buying equal ones. The story doesn't end. When I asked for return, a poor knowledgeable manager (very young ) told me it's too big amount. She said it is a fraud returning over $50, while this happened due to their mistake! So even $60 for them was huge amount. I ended up only getting $30 back. Finally, the CVS manager (very young) was afraid of my attempts to tell her how to solve the problem. All these multiple mistakes are the results of poor management, and working with non-trained people. Good luck on CVS company to hire the right managers and train their customer service!!!

This local 718 number does NOT go to the store - this goes to the call center where you then have to tell them you want them to speak to the store. What is the point of having this number then? And the staff there? RUDE AF. They have sometimes 6-7 people working in the back, laughing and having a grand old time - meanwhile there is a line literally almost out the front door of the store. They move like snails and offer zero help but 100% sick attitude. I have had it. I am switching my pharmacy.
