Late lunch on 3.6.10. (We enjoyed the "Tearoom" portion only!!!!)
Food = delicious. We tried their mussels which were to DIE FOR! We also tried their pannini which was delicious, especially with a bowl of their spicy homemade parsnip soup! Fresh ciabatta rolls were absolutely divine. We were stuffing ourselves silly with the fresh bread, even though we were already quite full.
Now their selection of sweets are just beautiful and homemade--victoria sponge, meringue, scones, etc.... We tried the meringue at our table, which has made me interested in the stuff again; and I definitely loved the scone with clotted cream and preserves!
Prices = reasonable.
Service = fantastic, friendly.
Decor = simple. Homey.
Definitely a favorite that we'd love to revisit the next time we're in the area! read more
