Cookie Time is a big cookie company in New Zealand that is known for their cookies. The factory is located in Christchurch and is definitely a major stop for locals and tourists alike. If you're a tourist in Christchurch, this is a great location to pick up some souvenirs to bring home and share. I'd highly recommend the Hokey Pokey as it is Kiwi's version of caramel, I think the taste of Hokey Pokey is between a caramel and a toffee. I'd also recommend the salted caramel, the original chocolate chip, and the triple chocolate. If you're at the location, get the Baffee warm cookie, I didn't know what Baffee meant and an employee had to educate me that it is Banana and Toffee combination. It was really tasty and the price is amazing as well. They also have a mascot called the Cookie Muncher, and the sell products with the Cookie Muncher on it. I'd highly recommend making a stop if you're in Christchurch, definitely a great place for quality local cookies. They definitely tastes creamier than what I'm used to, might be all the milk they have there in New Zealand. read more
