They close at 430pm and it was already lunchtime and the cookies are made fresh each morning. Inquired to the owner about party size cookie purchases. They offered some nice plastic wrapped large custom cookie gift items. The red velvet looked inviting but went with the classic chocolate chip cookie. However, Thursday morning, I found out the person I was sending the cookies to was going to be on vacation as of that Friday. So I called the shop and told them the situation. This is honestly my first yelp review I've actually taken the time to do, and I couldn't be happier to do it for this cookies by design location! I wanted to do something special for my boyfriend's last day of class for his second year of medical school, being long-distance makes these kinds of deliveries extra meaningful. First of all, I wanted it delivered a day earlier than the website was telling me I could do so, so I called the store and the man who answered the phone was not only extremely pleasant but extremely helpful, and he promised me the second I placed my order online that he would personally change the date so that it got there on the day that I was hoping for instead of what the computer said it would default to. Secondly, the minute the cookies were delivered the delivery guy called to tell me he had just dropped them off with my boyfriend's apartments front desk, and even told me the name of the front desk lady just in case any mixup happened.
