We ordered delivery from our favorite food courier service and thanked the courier generously because they deserved it after the long drive to Plantation for us. Went on a Thursday after dinner for a sweet treat, and liked our decision! It was empty when we went in, so we could chat with the cashier about some of the options and his recommendations which was nice- he was very friendly! We went with the four pack- classic chocolate chip cookie, Oreo brown cheesecake, rainbow over bedrock and cinnamon swirl (one of three additional flavors of the month). Chocolate chip- delicious! Love the amount of chocolate chips, flavor, and dough. So soft, semi sweet and rich in flavor. Rainbow over bedrock- surprisingly delicious! It was the last one we chose and it may actually be my favorite of the four. The dough is delicious, it has a milky (maybe, it's a glaze) which is the right balance of sweet and the the crunch of the rainbow cereal really give a perfect balance of all the flavors. Oreo brownie cheesecake- probably my second favorite. So delicious the flavors, the cheesecake topping- could have used slightly less of, just overpowers and takes away from the cookie and the cookie Oreo topping. It tastes good, but it's very overpowering. Lastly- the cinnamon one- also a delicious dough- the cinnamon center is awesome and the light swirl for the icing is nice. Cinnamon roll- caramel topping- my husbands favorite of all the treats. He liked the balance of all the flavors and loved the caramel icing- said it was perfect when warmed. I tried the cinnamon roll with the white frosting (can't remember its flavor)- And I hated it. I don't think the cinnamon sugar was sweet or noticeable enough to call it a cinnamon roll: the dough was soft- but again, not enough cinnamon/sugar flavor. And the icing was awful. And because it was soft thick and so much- it just overpowered every bite. I tried two bites and tossed it out. As of writing this two days later, we still have cookies left (just trying maybe a quarter of two cookies in a single serving) and they still taste great. We removed them from the box, and stored individually in air tight containers. We reheat them about 20-24 seconds on our microwave, power level 6 and they taste great (the box did say to reheat in the oven at 350 for about 5 minutes but we have not done that lol). The cookies are so large and the flavors are so strong, I could not see eating one whole cookie at a time. 1/4 of two is perfect- it's like a half of a cookie and that quenches our taste for something sweet! read more

Great place for late night sweet treats. Inside the shop is super clean and very well lit. There were two gentleman working when we stopped in, and both were handling the flow of things pretty well. I absolutely adore Night Owl Cookies. These treats are to die for! I always get a sundae when I come. Pro tip: the Dubai cookie is rich enough to shine on its own so don't get it as a sundae. The chocolate chip cookie is a classic and hands down my favorite so far. Oreo brownie cheesecake is so bomb! And the cookies and cream is yum, too!!! I got my eye on the red velvet. There's also coffee, other drinks, milkshakes, and two baked rolls to choose from if you don't want cookies. Something for everyone. On my last visit my chocolate chip cookie was a little unevenly warmed (some spots cool and some spots warm) and I noticed a few napkins left on the tables even though the place was empty when I arrived. This was unusual since it's normally spotless and cookies heated to perfection. The cookies themselves were still delicious, decadent, and worth every penny. I just wished it was heated evenly. Perhaps something went wrong with their oven or microwave (whatever they use to heat the cookies). I decided to dine in this visit and I noticed it got very loud as other patrons came in. So something to note if you don't like a louder environment when it gets busier. Everyone talking plus the already loud music makes for a very loud environment. Cookies are rich, indulgent, and not for the faint of heart!! Pricey for a cookie? Maybe. Depends who you ask. Worth it? Absolutely!!Because you're getting quite a lot for what you're paying for. Very good cookies .. what i really like about them is that they are always really good.. no matter how many different flavors and combinations they drop as weekly specials the quality flavor and attention to nuance is obviously still there. On this trip I dropped in for their dubai pistachio cookie special as well as the sticky bun. Both good! Esp the cookie. I've had dubai pistachio cookies front different shops that have dropped them as specials but sp far it's them and 1 other place that did a great job.. the others put out a cookie that was sorely lacking while also charging a premium. I got an assortment of cookies. Just an FYI with door dash pass, it was cheaper (including delivery) than to get them picked up. They had a coupon for a free Dubai cookie. I personally really enjoyed all of the cookies. The Maria Ave one is delicious with the Maria cookies and guava jam. The s'mores one is really good as the marshmallow was toasted. The Dubai cookie is new and potentially there for a limited time. I honestly am usually overwhelmed by the sweetness of the Dubai chocolate products but this was a great balance and I would get it again. The Nutella cookie is a classic. Ive been wanting to taste Dubai chocolate after seeing it all over TikTok. Then all of a sudden this place started showing up on my socials. They were featuring a Dubai chocolate cookie and I knew I had to have it. After work I decided to pass by. This was my first time ever trying Night Owl cookies and it DID NOT disappoint. The place looked bright, clean and inviting. The server was friendly.That cookie was so good. Im not even chocolate lover BUT i loved that cookie. The green crunchy things on top and inside of the cookie were a highlight. The cookie itself had a slight crisp on the outside and soft and moist in the middle. While there, I noticed an OG glazed cinnamon roll with a cream cheese icing. So, I purchased that too. It was great. I shared that one with hubby because he loved it so much. Just ate dinner and now for dessert saw this little custom cookie store next door in the plaza called Night Owl Cookies open from 11am - 2am everyday. Beautiful bright white interior with several tables with colorful sprinkles encased on top of each table which provided a cool unique appearance. The wall had many digital monitors displaying various cookies. I appreciate the open bakery for the customers to watch the magic. The counter had sixteen custom cookies on display each were large with crazy toppings for about $4.50. I chose the Oreo Brownie Cheesecake which they place into a cute little togo box - yes, I said "cute". We sat down at one of the sprinkle tables and unleashed the big cookie from the box and took a bite - after a pic of course. An immediate explosion of sweetness from the cheesecake topping and then the super moist cookie. This won the contest against Crumbl. The men's bathroom was sparkling clean. Will return to try the S'Mores and the Rainbow Over Bedrock cookies next or maybe even buy a case. read more

A great new addition to Plantation, I recently came here because I was craving some cookies after dinner and I am glad I did. The lady working that night I came was super friendly and gave me a couple recommendations. I am glad I listened to her because I decided to get the Beetlejuice cookie. The Beetlejuice cookie was insanely massive and the flavor of it was equally as amazing! I loved the design on top with the green drizzle and the sprinkles. Every bite had the right combination of flavor and it was not too sweet for a cookie of this size! The chocolate chip original cookie is great as well and pairs really well with a glass of milk, which they sell as well! Prices are very reasonable with four of these massive cookies costing about $15 dollars and change. The location is easy to find and there is more then enough spaces to park in so you can pop in quickly. The location was super clean and I love how the tables are thick, clear tables that are filled with candy sprinkles, it truly matches the aesthetic of the cookie store! Cookies are my thing and I make it a point to try out every cookiery in my destination. Night Owl was that brand. Seeing them heavily marketed on social media, I had a bit of a high anticipation. But... social media following doesn't translate to quality at all - and it's obvious here. Upon arrival.. the store was extremely underwhelming. There was a transient inside kind of doing whatever.. walls were bare with 3 monitors. It felt cold and sterile. Nothing like the imagery the brand on social media portrays. So major disappointment there. Since you eat with your eyes, I viewed the display cookies and Jeesh.... You'd think they'd make sure their display cookies looked decent. Oh well. First off, they gave me the wrong cookies... so that kind of set the tone. The cookies I received, but didn't quite order, were great looking and big. I was excited to dive in. The cookies and cream - ugh. What the heck?! This cookie had a horrible aftertaste and just tasted commercial as all heck. When you think of cookies, you think of the cookies your family made.... But this... the Oreos were crunchy but tasteless. The aftertaste was extremely artificial. They must use artificial vanilla flavoring, it was excessively obvious. The donut thing - the chocolate topping tasted oily and flavorless. It was kind of gross and didn't make sense with the cookie. Idk of any donuts with oily chocolate toppings but whatever. The donut situation inside... felt like some random little Debbie's? It was flavorless and just blah. Super artificial tasting. Twix - the outside was the oily chocolate with Nilla Wafers I think. This cookie was the worst out of all of them. The artificial flavor was out of control. The dirty Diana - i didn't order this. This tasted like chalk. Their chocolate base is wildly sour and still very artificial. I had about 2 bites of each cookie before I tossed them. I'm not sure how this brand is as popular as it is... they're subpar even compared to Crumbl. Now they're venturing into rolls? Yikes. I won't be back and I definitely won't recommend this cookie brand to my friends. What a disappointment. I definitely feel I got tricked. read more

I was in there area a few days ago and had totally forgotten that a Night Owl opened in Plantation, so I made a point to come back. There was only one person in line ahead of me, and while she looked like she was having a hard time making decisions, the girl at the counter was very patient and talked her through it. When I got up, I ordered the cosmo brownie, Oreo, Ave Maria, and brookie cookies. These cookies are THICC! Definitely not something you'd eat in one sitting. The flavors on them are all great, and they do not short change the ingredients, i.e. the Oreo cookie is covered in Oreos. NOTE BEFORE VISITING: they are popping these guys in the oven when you order them, so you will be waiting. The kitchen area is pretty open and you can watch them bake the cookies and build your desserts! The staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. I ordered through their app and just dropped in to pick up my order. These cookies are huge, soft baked and chewy, and rich with flavor. Move aside Crumbl (I said what I said).....Night Owl Cookies is literally EVERYTHING I could want in a cookie. My favorite dessert is a chocolate chip cookie and I am very particular about the taste and texture. I ordered 2 semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 birthday cakes and HOLY WOW....they were actually to die for. The semi-sweet came with so many chocolate chips on top and was perfectly cooked/slight crunch on the outside and soft, well-baked in the middle. The birthday cake was drizzled with icing that truly made it incredible. This is hands down the best cookie place I have ever tried (beats Crumbl, Insomnia, & Midnight Cookies which is my second favorite).
