We had initial theme for the party of "glam" but ended up switching to an 80s theme...so a whole different cake idea. The owner adjusted to this seamlessly and executed to perfection as well as keeping me up to date thru out and being timely in delivery. The cake itself came out so vibrant & dope....the birthday girl and several other guess thought it was a decor / art piece. Everyone loved the taste & texture as well. The (last minute add of) neon pink champagne inficupcakes were on point as well. Definitely helped deliver on the vibe we were going for with the party. I ordered about 3 weeks in advance and Ruthy mentioned that it is better to order in advance since sometimes rush orders can cost extra. She also mentioned that they require full payment for the cake in order to hold the date that we need. We picked up on a Saturday. They are only open from 12-1pm on Saturday's to pick up. There was one add on that we discussed and she forgot to add it but when I mentioned it to her, she said she would add it to the cake immediately even if it would only be completed a little after they closed on 1pm. Overall, the cake was delicious and a huge hit at our party. Everyone thought it looked amazing and tasted equally as amazing! The cake was moist and the filling was great too! Gone are the fall cupcakes that were so beautiful that they used to be the centerpiece of my Thanksgiving dessert table. This year when I opened the boxes of cupcakes that I got through Goldbelly at considerable more cost, while I knew they wouldn't be Fall themed, what I didn't know was that the tops would be all smushed and stuck to the saran wrap. Of the 16 I purchased, only 4 survived intact. They tasted fine but sadly, were no long worth the money. I didn't even put them out. They used to have such great customer service, always met my timing for whatever cake I needed and were really a great local business. Too bad that had to end. Anyone know a good cupcake place that does beautiful custom work?
