Their work is impeccable, the finish, fitting and stitching is absolutely perfect. On both occasions the sofas came back to us looking as they did when they were new (possibly better). This is a family run business and they take great pride in what they do. The son, Luc, deals mostly with the customers, while his mother and father do the magic in their onsite workshop. They are easy to deal with, and work with you to make sure you get the result you want (from choice of fabrics to the finished product). If you call, the person who's in charge of appointments is often busy and you need to leave a message so they can call you back. I left a couple of messages and they never called back, so I just ordered online. Nowadays, Steelcase and Herman Miller will let you order directly online without having to play phone tag with a salesperson to even find out their pricing.

This year, we moved and decided to keep the same furniture. Since they offer moving services (plastic box rental, disassembling the furniture, moving furniture and personal contents, re-assembling the furniture), it was a clear choice for a full-service move. The guy who came to quote us said "hmm.... 75 boxes" and that was exactly how many we needed!! By the way, he was from "Magena", which is apparently a sister company of Heritage, at the same address. The guy who delivered the boxes a week prior, and the guys who came to do the actual move were all wearing "Heritage" uniforms. They request a diagram of the new location ahead of time, with all rooms numbered and furniture laid out. Then, all the items to be moved need to be labeled with those numbers (on a easily removable sticker that they provide). I was impressed when the guys that came in said "wow, lots of things going to the second floor" just by looking at the number 5 on many boxes. The diagram's not just for the office guy or the site manager, but the whole crew gets a briefing! This was going to be a 4-star review, but they went out of their way to help us. We were booked for Monday morning, but we found out last minute from the management of the building we were moving out of that we could not use the elevators on weekdays before 6pm... . I called Magena/Heritage the morning of the Friday before the scheduled move, and they were able to rebook us on such short notice for that same Friday evening. Thank you so much!! He warned us that the cost would be a bit higher than quoted, since the guys would have to work overtime. The invoice was exactly the same as the quote, though... So this was going to be a 5-star review. But the Reassembly of the furniture units were a bit lacking. The table units we have had been discontinued, so they brought compatible legs from another line, in case we needed more to complete the new layout. I just wish that two legs, next to each other 11 inches apart, in plain view, could have matched each other. Also, I numbered all the parts, as I had been told to, but it seems that they just looked at the diagrams and used whichever interchangeable part was at hand. Those were interchangeable when they left the factory, but aren't anymore, as only a few of the desk surfaces had keyboard trays. And I had planned out cabinets optimized for key compatibility, but that wasn't realized. So back down it goes to 4 stars. Sorry I'm picky. The invoice was mailed to us later, and we paid by company cheque.
