They are intentionally cheats and major *ssholes about it.

We were fairly certain that the possibility of living at the mission, was becoming inevitable. A couple of local complexes wouldn't even talk to us I'm assuming because we had to file a full Chapter 7 bankruptcy because of the floods and not being able to do the repairs. One complex in particular treated us so badly we felt like second-rate citizens at no fault of our own. And then our attorney mentioned the Villas of Castleton. I said to my husband at this point what do we have to lose the worst they can say is no. But that's not what happened..... I wrote a small letter to the property management just telling them our situation... As I had done with the other complexes. Only this time we didn't hear no! What we heard was come in let's talk and take a look at an apartment and see what we can do!! There is no judgement and no negativity. But there was hope and that's exactly what my little family needed as we watched our entire world fall apart. From the moment we were greeted at the door by Hannah we were received with smiles and hope and confidence and kindness. Her and Anne, made the process so easy and so smooth for us in such a devastating and chaotic time in our lives. The Villas here or if you want to call them Apartments are absolutely gorgeous. They are clean, safe and huge. The staff here from the front office the property management to the maintenance staff are absolutely professional, knowledgeable, kind and they follow through with everything. We finally have a place we can call home. We love being here every day. There's a pool here there's a 24 hour fitness room and a gorgeous Community building that you can even rent for parties!! Living in Marietta has been a change for us but I believe it was a blessing in disguise. The local restaurants and bars and nightlife is awesome. The property here has a beautiful view of some mountains, it's quiet here and going to bed feeling safe every night is absolutely priceless especially with a little girl in our Villa. I know a lot of complexes seem like the same old thing but I promise you if you come here and look you will want to stay. There's just something about the Villas of Castleton that is different than any of the other places. You don't feel like a resident ..you feel more like family. and that to me is also priceless not just because we lost so much but because I also recently lost both of my parents so to feel like I'm surrounded by family is just something I can't even explain. The building that I'm in in particular is really cool. All of our neighbors are fun and friendly and we have all become fast friends. I've never lived anywhere where I walk out my door and see my neighbor and we give each other hugs... That is such a great feeling!! I promise you if you are looking for an amazing place to live with a welcoming community and a safe environment and a beautiful location with excellent schools... Plus the pool the weight room and the community building---you definitely want to live here. Not to mention just when I thought living here couldn't get any better...last night we heard all kinds of fire truck sirens and then we went out to see what was going on... SANTA CLAUSE WAS HERE!!!! He was actually in a boat being towed by a fire truck!! All I could do was stand there and cry as I saw my daughter's face light up for the first time in months. it's been so hard to try to find the Christmas spirit when tragedy hits your family.. and last night just solidified that moving here was the best decision we could have ever made. And just as a side note the maintenance crew here is absolutely ridiculously fantastic I just can't say enough about them.. and wait until you meet Hannah and Anne in the front office... Their smiles are intoxicating and they really treat you like they've known you all their lives. i am not happy with Morgan properties after renting from them for over five years at different…read morelocations and this being one of them, never paid rent late and left every place without any issues. Currently living in one of the properties and tried to transfer to another one of Morgan properties after being told they have a smooth move program. Office stated needed an inspection to make sure everything was good to transfer. After inspection I was told everything looked great and then had to pay the application fees of 100 dollars. Due to some credit hiccups in the past year related to a death in the family and traveling back and forth home we were rejected for the move, this had nothing to do with rental history with Morgan properties and needless to say they keep the 100 dollar application fees. I understand credit is something they look at but being a resident with them for over five years and never having an issue with rent or damage should be considered for something. I would recommend looking elsewhere as if you ever run into rough times in your life they will not allow you to move from one property to another. There are many reasons we want to move from the current property but this is not the place to mention them. We are highly disappointed with this company, especially the way they treat dedicated residents that actually care about the homes they live in. We are both in are 50s and have never left a Morgan property with any issues, but I guess this accounts for nothing. In the end you will get an email stating best of luck to you.

I noticed it like late mornings/ mid day and it's was all the time that you would see him outside circling the property with the windows down just staring like the properties like the properties' special personal police. Even my kids and friends noticed " the maintenance guy with the red truck kept driving by" The rent is RIDICULOUSLY high almost 2k a month with no amenities, no gym! No pool they literally offer nothing besides a very small dog park with a low enough gate that any large dog could easily jump. Not to mention it's always filled with dog poop. Also, the dog owners let dogs poop in your yard as well so small piece of advice don't get a corner townhome if you can avoid it because EVERYONE will let their dogs go in your grass and it will be too hard for it to look like it wasn't your own dog. They cut grass but they only did snow removal ONCE and after that it's on the tenant. Yes you heard that right!!! For almost 2k a month you are shoveling your own driveway. When I first saw a model of the townhome I wasn't allowed to see the basement because of some excuse. When I finally saw my own home the basement was disclosed as being partially unfinished; but boyyyyy I tell ya! It was mostly all cement. It was a small piece of carpet down there maybe large enough for a dresser. And it was no way to keep it warm. It's basically just storage space. Unfortunately the basement had water that would come in and out so I would suggest pallets or something to keep your things OFF THE FLOOR. There was also only one outlet in the basement among other things. Please do your research before renting! better yet, just go somewhere else trust me you'll be glad you did. There is so much more I could say but honestly I'm just tired of typing lol. Mostly all my neighbors moved because of the increase of rent. Your rent will go up after the first year! its one thing when you move in and then it goes up right away. Be safe.

The first mover I contacted talked a great game but in the end my spidey sense kicked in and I realized it must be a scam as he asked me several times within an hour for his deposit of $250. I later found reviews that said he took the money and never showed up. Now I'm really in trouble - as far as I knew, my parents could be released any day without much advanced warning. I went back to my Yelp reviews and decided to contact Mount Wolfe. I messaged the company and shortly heard back from Dwayne. I told him what I needed (it wasn't a huge amount of stuff - not too hard of a local move.) He gave me a quote almost immediately and it was a firm set price. The price included what most movers charged extra for - tax, mileage, fuel surcharge and many more items that could take a reasonable rate into something sky high. We added a few pieces to my original inventory list and let Dwayne know, expecting an increase in price. Once again, Dwayne reiterated that this is a flat rate. We finally had a tentative release date, by now we were only a few days out. Dwayne was so very flexible for us. Then we found out there was a move in "window" that we had to fall into. Once again, Dwayne changed our time to fit our schedule. In fact, the day of, they even came earlier to make sure we met the window. They arrived in a big uhaul which made us a little quizzical but if you think about over head costs, for a small business, it might be a more cost effective way of controlling overhead. Whatever, it did the job. I stayed back, cleaned a little, ran a few errands and got to our drop of site. I was maybe 45 minutes behind and when I got there they were just about done emptying the truck. (They squeezed right through that window.). My brother had taken everything apart at home but all three of them got everything put back together, placed where we wanted it (with a few "maybe over there, wait, no over there..." adjustments.) And like that, the move had been made. Nothing broken, scratched or missing. All the wrapping undone and taken away. Just like Dwayne promised, nothing additional. No surprises. Though it was by far the smallest move I've ever overseen, it was by a stretch the easiest one. I will use Mount Wolfe anytime I have to make a move. They really were the best.

Which was very unprofessional when there was more than enough room for her things to fit. Especially, when the truck had more than enough room if packed correctly. Once they began packing all had fit and what small things didn't go we packed in the car. As we got closer to evening Dwayne advised that he was going to get a hotel and arrive to the house in Alabama in the morning. We arrived to the house at 9am and no call, text, or email from Dwayne. We went to get breakfast still no call, text,or email. I called while at breakfast and was told by Dwayne that the helpers woke up late and they will be at the house by 12pm. Upon their arrival at 2pm (5 hours late), Dwayne called and advised they were at the house and decided to unload the truck in the driveway. As we pulled up to the house from picking up cleaning supplies and water for the guys we noticed our stuff on the driveway like it was a garage sale or something. It was so unprofessional and disappointing to see. Then, after they moved the things into the house Dwayne seemed frustrated and annoyed when I asked about him installing the TV's and assembly of the beds which was part of the agreement. He proceeded to install the bed and TV's. He seemed to struggle to install a TV wall mount and TV on the wall. Then, I went out to the hardware store to pick up more proper screws for the TV mount. Not sure what he did with the screws he removed in Manchester for the same mount. All the screws were packed and labled to make the installations smooth. But while I was gone he assembled 1 queen frame and a twin futon. When I came back they placed the TV on the wall and I looked at everything that wasn't till wrapped in plastic. They brought in the final piece of furniture. It was completely destroyed. I told them to leave it in the Garage. He decided to leave it right at the entrance of the garage door. So I had to move it to the side wall myself. He said it was fixable and its not. We went to sleep woke up the next morning sat back on the bed and the bed shifted with a loud bang. Noticed that the bed wasn't properly assembled screws missing and loose. I immediately checked everything. The twin bed was missing screws and shifting left and right. My antique coffee table was scuffed in mutiple places, dinning table scuffed, dressers scuffed, bed frame chipped and scuffed, some China plates cracked and destroyed, desk missing a part, screws checked and noticed screws were loosened and had to be tightened and the motor bar was disconnected, computer monitor mount was chipped like it was dropped on the ground. I was emailed by Dwayne to sent photos was told by email that they did their best and I would be fully compensated. I'm still waiting.
