This place is everything I was hoping for and more! They didn't claim that adjustments cause the blind to see or cures cancer. I had back and neck problems, they listened, and set me up with a program to help with neck and back pain! The adjustments feel great, but more importantly, they set me up with daily exercises that help stretch and strengthen muscles that I didn't even know existed. Also, the "traction table" is heaven on earth. Finally, the staff is absolutely amazing. The front desk crew almost always greet me by name. Having never been to a chiropractor before I didn't know what to expect really. The two ladies at the front desk are a delight. The office is a very welcoming and comfortable environment. You can have complimentary coffee, tea or water while you're waiting. Dr. Hinz is extremely friendly and courteous. I went in for a new patient visit and had a short exam and then some x-rays of my back. Went back a couple of days later to talk with him about the results of the x-rays and left with a very good understanding of what he'd like to do and why it would help my situation. I was told by the "doctor" that you could pay per session or pay in a package I chose to pay per session and they said that I couldn't do that a13-year-old child they are charging $75 per session. I have never been charged as an adult been charged such a ridiculous amount let alone for a 13-year-old and a two minute adjustment. People are very nice but I can't give a good rating for this reason and will not be going back. In the past, I've left other doctors' offices and often felt that there wasn't much accomplished in a visit, only to leave with what I know will be another minor adjustment scheduled a couple of days later. Ok - so, being brand new to TN and just having moved, my back was in really bad shape. The "I can barely get out of bed and don't even ask me to pick something up off the floor" kinda shape. What I found here at Cool Springs was more than just an incredibly professional group of people but a place where I knew I would get well. Meghan and Catherine are wonderful. They are friendly and welcoming helping generate a sense of comfort and peace in the office. I've been going for a while now and they never stop smiling. Dr. Hinz is excellent. Highly professional and super knowledgeable on new ideas and techniques. Within a couple visits I was able to begin moving easier. He orchestrates his therapy program to match the health and healing of his patients. New therapies are introduced as I'm ready physically to handle them. He's interested in the overall health of his patients and how he can help them achieve the best possible life. I personally believe Chiropractic medicine is similar to dentistry - even when you feel good, you should go for maintenance. I have no doubt if I hadn't continued all the years I have or if I stopped now, I would suffer a lot of pain in my elder years and most likely suffer limited to no mobility in my lower back. I had a baby 3 months ago and ever since then my hips and back have been giving me so much trouble!
