Just terrible. Don't care about patient care. Rude caregivers. Charge a fortune for missed appointments. Run from this practice!!! Just bad.

I am only 17 years of age, but I have always been wise beyond my years. I won't make this review pages long by explaining all of the incidents I had at this facility. However, I will say this: Parents and legal guardians, helping your child starts with YOU. I have a strong belief that every person on this Earth a "by-product" of their environment and influences. Coming from a teenager that has struggled with self harm, s***** attempts, substance abuse, relationship abuse, various mood disorders, etc. I can rightfully say that I understand. And mental hospitals (your child/patient will tell you this part) SUCK! They're HORRIBLE! Because staff is often performative in their acts of "care." At Rolling Hills, I have encountered many stressful and damaging events. There are sweet nurses and tech there, like Mrs. Alicia :) But there's also a lot of unempathetic people employed at this facility - And others. Whether you bring your child to Trust Point, or Vertava, or Rolling Hills, they face the risk of being scrutinized by annoying staff (employees that lack consistent work ethic & real HEART). But that's what people need when they struggle. They need to be surrounded by people that care. So please, keep your child/patient safe. Take them to a mental hospital if you don't think that they/you can handle them being at home. BUT! Please please please, let your kid know you love them. Or grandson, or sister, or aunt, or whomever. Avoid having to put your "patient" in a predicament and ask them what they think they need. I know it can be difficult to differentiate between truth and lie, when trying to aid someone with poor mental health, but it's possible. I promise :) Everybody is capable of being saved

The facilitator Rachel's awesome, my individual therapist Alisa's fantastic, group leader DJ's wonderful, group leader Crystal's great and nurse Kim is special... each and every single one of them are meant to do this, it's their calling and their passion; they only want to help you and give back. It's so refreshing to see. They will fight and go to bat for you, just as long as you're fighting for yourself too. I enrolled in the faith based evening groups which we did Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-10pm (they offer morning sessions as well, and you can change which group you need to be in at any time, RU works with you) via a secure Zoom room. And I know some people may think online programs don't work or are legit, but this one's the real deal. As with anything in life, it is what you make of it. But let me just say and attest to this: God showed up in those rooms! I also did individual therapy sessions once a week where my therapist (an absolute angel) would give me assignments based on what I was trying to work through and cope with at the time, which I took very seriously and worked very hard on. I'd present them to the group during Open Mic Night (every other Thursday) in which I'd pick a song that meant a lot to me or that I felt matched the vibe of my assignment (a whole lot of Mac Miller, check him out if you're not familiar) and we'd listen to it together before my turn to share. I really enjoyed each one. Music plays a very significant role in this program and I love that. It can often say what we feel but just don't know how to express in words, or at least I believe that to be true, in my case. It's healing, therapeutic, good for the soul in every way really. In closing, I'm so very appreciative of this program. After my time was up at Cornerstone (a great inpatient rehab in Alcoa) I decided to continue my care, and I'm so very glad I chose Recovery Unplugged's virtual IOP. I couldn't be happier I did. I only just recently graduated and genuinely miss it so much! I literally have not one negative thing to say about RU... not even any constructive criticism to give. It's just that good. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you're serious about getting yourself clean and/or sober. Long as you're ready and truly doing this for you (and you alone; rest assured it won't work any other way) then I really think you'll have an awesome experience just like I did. p.s. I'll be celebrating 3yrs clean from IV drugs December 1st and I'm currently going on 5mo's sober from alcohol, thanks to this program. It works if you work it. Sending good vibes, prayers, hope, love and light to anyone out there struggling, so sick and tired of being so sick and tired. Keep me where the light is.

Spoke with…read moreCharlie and followed up with Adam Unfortunately, our experience with the intake process was deeply disappointing and raised serious concerns about the organization's priorities and professionalism. In the field of addiction recovery, timing is everything--when someone finally agrees to seek help, delays can mean lost opportunities and increased risk. Instead of a prompt and compassionate intake, we were met with long delays, multiple follow-ups from our end, and an ultimately frustrating process. One of the most concerning moments was when a staff member tried to equate addiction treatment to chemotherapy for cancer, an inappropriate and inaccurate comparison that reflects a lack of sensitivity and basic understanding of patient engagement And then with example quoting boo-boo Even more telling: when the team suspected that insurance might not yield significant reimbursement, communication slowed and eventually stopped entirely. No courtesy follow-up. No closure. It became clear that financial gain drives their outreach efforts more than genuine care for the person in need. This experience wasted valuable time and revealed a troubling lack of empathy and integrity in the intake team. Thank you for making it clear upfront how much value you place on the people seeking your help.
