We rented the Eagle's Nest this weekend and had a lovely stay. It's a very nice efficiency cabin and was just perfect for us and our 2 young children. We rented a boat from an affiliated resort - Thunderbird Resort - and had wonderful service, a lot of fun on the lake. Very nice people, a nice place to stay. read more

4 lakefront cottages with 180 degree views of Lake Buchanan. Our cottages range in size from Efficiency to 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Boat dock for fishing and swimming, hot tub, outdoor living areas, and outdoor fireplace.

History

Established in 2002.

Coolwater Cottages were built in 2002 and originally called Ahoy Lakefront. New owners and manager took over in 2012.

After being in the restaurant business for 21 years I decided to stay in the Hospitality Industry but switch to lodging. We also own and operate Thunderbird Lodge.
