We hired Asons Construction 6 months ago to do the needed repairs on a home we purchased. Asons…read morewas horrible to deal with. They would give us a quote, we would agree on it, then they would turn around and DOUBLE the quote. They were horrible at explaining what was included in the prices that they were estimating. So we thought the project was getting done completely, but they would leave out the finishing work. So, we paid for something and it wasn't even completed. They were an absolute nightmare with every single project. I have spoken with other people in the area who have had similar experiences. I wish I was able to give 0 stars.

To Zachary- I am so…read moresorry that you have fallen prey to a sub-standard P&P company. Here is the issue- the government contracts out work to these large national or regional companies. They in turn subcontract the work out to "qualified" vendors who in the case of wints and de-wints are basically any guy who answers a CraigsList ad and owns a vehicle and a wrench, and a portable air compressor. Most of the time, they have no clue what they are doing, and try to get in and out as fast as they can. That is the only way to make money. In most cases (different areas sometimes have different rates) but I can tell you that htey pay a "contractor" $60-70 for a winterization in Michigan, and just about half of that for de-wint. So the dewinterization you paid $180 for, paid the guy with a wrench $35, who then promptly left. This industry, that I do work in, is a mess. There is little oversight of the contractors, and the truly good contractors suffer. $25 grass cuts, etc- it's a mess. Sorry you had such a bad experience, and I hope you have either gotten your home fixed or found another one.
