I try to keep my comments on yelp to reviews of services and products, so this is a bit of a…read morestrange review. About three months ago, I slept in my glasses, and when I was in the building for an eye exam, I stopped by Bay optical to see if they could bend the frames back into shape. They took my glasses into the back, and about 15 minutes later returned them to me bent back into shape. A couple of days later, I noticed that my eyes were always blurry, and I was starting to get headaches. I thought at first it was the after effects of when they dilated my eye for my appointment, but my vision never got better. I tried changing the size of the screens I was using, I went to my GP to make sure I didn't Have diabetes, and I watched the pollen count closely to make sure that it wasn't allergies, but the vision problem remained. Yesterday, I saw a new eye doctor in Eugene. When they checked my old lenses, they were surprised to find that the lenses in my glasses were in the wrong sides of the frame. . They switched them back and my vision immediately went back to what it was before I let Bay Optical work on my frames Now, I can't prove that Bay optical switched the lenses when they worked on my frames, but they are the only ones who have touched my frames other than me. My only conclusion is either Bay optical was sloppy, or I am the butt of some cosmic-level joke. Just sayin.

The office staff helped me pick out frames that look good on me. When I picked them up they sat with me measured and made adjustments and I could see and the frames felt great. It is well worth it to go see the people at Coquille Vision Center. You will love the staff and the care you receive. I highly recommend this business.

We weee visiting on a roadtrip from…read moreCalifornia when my husbands arm fell off - went to Ace for a kit but none of us could get the screw in correctly to tighten it - exasperated, we remembered that this place was across from our Motel - we ran across the street and asked if they would help us - the lovely employee said, "Of course!" And within 2 minutes she had the screw in and tightened as well as the screw on the other side, which was also about to fall out. I removed my credit card to pay and she said, "No no no" even after I had previously said we were visiting from CA (not able to be a returning client.) we were and remain so grateful. In those 2 minutes I also noticed that they had a great selection of glasses - I found quite a few pairs that I preferred to mine - but alas they are 800 miles away from our home. If you live anywhere near abandon, COME HERE! Great selection, great people!

I needed a new presription because I couldn't read the menu at McDonald's and other fine fast food…read moredining establishments plus could not read the subtitles on foreign movies on my television. I got a new prescription and new glasses at Bandon Vision Center. So far so good but now I have to use the old pair of glasses when I used the computer as I am doing now. My distance vision and reading works with the new glasses but not the middle. I was told I could get trifocals but wish I had known this when I got the new glasses. Why wasn't I told that before not after the fact. In all fairness they offered to give me a new pair of glasses with trifocal vision but am not interested. I'll go back up to Coos Bay next time.

Also I had to complete some paperwork Than I sat down and waited for my name to be called That didn't happen After a while I went up to ask when my massage was going to begin. Of course nobody knew about me waiting The young man finally walked me to the massage room and asked me all kind of questions the same ones that I just filled out in the paperwork So I mentioned that to him and he said he just got back from lunch and didn't have the time to look at it The massage was ok but not worth the high price they charged Will not return

They also do not seem to understand how not to leave an overhang and how to finish a margin. The office looks nice, but the skill level of the dentistry is poor to middling, depending on who you get. They cycle baby docs through there, who get their experience there,and then move on. My guess is that they don't vett anyone. I find the forced friendly thing to be over the top and tiresome. The problem is thatvthey literally dont know what they should know. Also I've had some interesting bookkeeping issues there, like a credit for over $500 that I wasn't told about,until they wouldn't take my new insurance, and wanted me to pay on their insurance plan. I find their bookkeeping and dental skills suspiciously inadequate

I was a little late for my appointment and the person at the desk said I may not be seen and may have to reschedule which was upsetting because I was getting the second half of a bridge fitted that day. They did end up seeing me but being told that felt a little harsh, however, this is the only discomforting experience I've had with them.

I called several Hearing centers, and Beaulieu was the only one who offered to take a look at it, even though they didn't work on his particular brand of hearing aid. They were able to clean it and get it working for him. It made a big difference in our trip. They also have a beautiful facility he said.
