When they originally booked, they were given a price, paid the quoted amount, and had a final phone call **10 days before the wedding to confirm that everything was in order**. Then, just **three days before the wedding**, they received an email saying that the employee who had given them the quote was new and had made a mistake, and they were now expected to pay an additional $300. I'm sorry, but an employee's mistake in providing a quote should not become the customer's problem three days before their wedding. Thankfully, the venue, which lists Cheers & Swizzles as a preferred vendor, stepped in and helped resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. The bartender provided for the wedding repeatedly mixed up drink orders throughout the evening. There were only **two alcohol choices**, so this should have been a pretty straightforward assignment. Yet guests ordering whiskey and Coke were repeatedly given vodka and Coke instead. When you hire a professional bartender for a wedding, you expect them to be able to correctly prepare two simple drink options. Weddings are stressful and expensive enough without having to deal with last-minute pricing issues and poor service from a vendor you trusted to handle an important part of the evening. The venue was wonderful and stepped in when the pricing issue arose, but based on our experience, we would **not recommend Cheers & Swizzles for a wedding or other important event**.

Some aspects below: -The service did not start putting drinks until 1:30-1:45, when we requested the service start at 1 pm. Our party started at 1 pm and my guests did not have cocktails. This aspect highly disappointed us as we arrived at 1:15 to learn this. -He did not bring a shaker. This impacts what drinks can be make. If he was knowledgeable or experienced enough, he could have used pint glasses...we had pint glasses. We requested a full bar. -He did not make mocktails which was part of the reason we hired the service. He did not know how. -He did not know how to make Lemon Drop shots for the bride and her friends. This by far and away is most unacceptable to me. -Ran out of mixers, specifically club soda and juices. -My guest asked for a mojito. The tender did not have the mixers. No mint. -He was very slow with making drinks. The line was always at least 5 people deep, with only approx 40 drinking guests. -Through a conversation with the bartender I learned he was out late and hungover. I personally don't care what people do with their personal time, however, when it impacts our wedding, to say the least, again, we're most displeased. -Along those lines, we feel these comments are inappropriate items a hired service should EVER say to a guest. I was not there to hear this, nevertheless, do trust it was said given the level of service.
