However you must always take into account that they take walk ins and will always take those who they believe in more immediate need first. Whether a walk in or a scheduled appointment. While this can be a bit irritating, think if it was you in need of immediate care, would you want to wait while a patient for a routine checkup was seen. The thing to consider most is the level of care, and I can honestly say that I have always received excellent care at the Livingston clinic. In fact Dr. Barlow has gone above and beyond for me in my care from day one. Starting with helping me struggle through my disability claims, to most recently ensuring I received care for my back. I started having back pain in July of 2024, the pain increased with every passing day. By mid September walking was causing me severe pain, as the end of October approached I could barely walk due to the pain. In November visit with Dr. Barlow she order X-rays, and a few other tests, the end result she had me admitted to Livingston Regional for observation and an MRI that I had been going round and round between pain management and insurance was done. The MRI revealed that I had a spinal burst fracture between the R4 and R5 which would require surgery to correct. She and Ashley set up everything with the spinal surgeon Dr Parker. In January of 2025 I had my spinal surgery, and experienced the first relief in over 6 months. While I am not totally pain free and probably will never be, I can guarantee that if not for Dr Barlow and her staff, I'd still be screaming as I got out of bed, only able to lie on the couch. I not only recommend the Livingston clinic, it is the only place I will go, and I trust adm Dr. Barlow over any one of my specialists. She not only treats you. She cares about you. I'll take that over the assembly line practices any day... If you want true care, then the Livingston clinic is the place to be.

Already, I have been introduced to several of her doctors, of whom, I've never been a fan of - here in Crossville, it is warned to stay far away from the medical community(as they don't know what their doing). I was pleasantly surprised at the attention grams received. Not only did they know her name, they remembered her many stories and asked follow up questions regarding them. They knew, without looking into her cooler of meds, what she was on and how they would react to a new med. They took the time to listen to her go on about me - she always makes my life seem so much better than I view it and so I listen too :) - and have the most gentle of ways to bringing the conversations back to her medical care. Moved to Murfreesboro several years ago and had to find new physicians. We struggled finding a…read more Primary Care Physician for check-ups; physicals and occasional winters colds and what appeared to be minor ailments. Many walk in clinics have wonderful nurses but the turnover in their employees is continual-which hinders good service. We were referred to Dr. Hopkins and his staff and it was just what we needed. They are located right off the square downtown Murfreesboro in an older but very neat building. Our family has seen Dr. Hopkins on occasion and also his PA's and nurses-they are all very thorough, professional and kind. They have either always taken care of us or referred us on to a specialist when our case warranted. The front office staff are polite and always ready to answer questions. When our private insurance was cancelled by BCBS and like thousands had to scramble for health insurance- we made sure our new coverage was a policy that Dr. Hopkin's practice accepted. Our family has found our doctor!
